Post your arrival at either the Varanasi Airport or the Varanasi Railway Station, you will be escorted to the hotel which is booked for you. You can check-in and spend some time in your room to freshen up. However, keep a note of the time because you do not want to miss the breathtakingly beautiful Varanasi Ganga Aarti. The timing of the Aarti keeps changing depending on the season because it has to take place at sunset every day. This special aarti takes place at the famous Dasaswamedh Ghat. It is a way of paying tribute to the Goddess Ganga. After the aarti is over, you will be taken back to the hotel.

A day full of fun and excitement

Your second day of Varanasi Temple Tour will begin with a power-packed breakfast. After your breakfast, you check-out of the hotel and leave for Allahabad. In transit, you visit Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Sarnath in Varanasi. After your arrival at Allahabad, you will visit the famous temples and other tourist attractions there. Ananda Bhawan, Hanuman Temple, Allahabad Fort, Patalpuri Temple, Ashoka Pillar and Akshaya Vat being some of them. You will then be taken to the hotel for some much-needed rest.

And now let's enter the Abode of Lord Ram.

After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and travel to Ayodhya. Quite obviously, you will visit Rama Janmbhumi, the birthplace of Lord Ram. There are also various temples associated with different stages of Lord Ram's life: Lakshman Ghat, Kala Ram Temple, Kanak Bhavan Temple and several Jain shrines. You will be escorted to your hotel for a good night's rest.

The fun never ends.

Following a lip-smacking breakfast, you will pack your bags and get ready for a trip to Chitarkoot, a city in Madhya Pradesh. History has it, that Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman went to the forests of Chitarkoot in exile. Here, you will visit Ramghat (another famous Ghat), Kamadgiri, Bharat Milap, Janaki Kund, Hanuman dhara and Sati anusayia. For your night's stay, you will return to your hotel in Allahabad.

The city of spiritual enlightenment.

Post a hearty breakfast, you will leave for yet another famous city, Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya actually falls under the state of Bihar and is located 380 kms away from Allahabad. As this would be a long journey, you will obviously get tired. Therefore, we haven't planned much for this day of Varanasi Temple Tour. You are quite free to explore the city on your own following check-in at the hotel.

Prepare yourself for a spiritual journey.

This city is one of the four most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. Here, Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment under the famous Bodhi tree which you will visit. It is situated within the premises of the Maha Bodhi Temple. Post your breakfast, you will also visit the Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River, Sujata Temple and the Chinese Temple. You will also visit the school of the destitute, following which, you will return to Varanasi.

Following a healthy breakfast, you check-out of the hotel and leave for either the Airport or the Railway Station; and hence you begin your journey back home with a light heart.
