d fully equipped with fridge, oven and hob. The king sized bed was really comfortable and the bathroom ideal with super monsoon shower as well as the usual one. The area was out of the main city so was quiet yet still very convenient with the MRT and buses within a short walk. Breakfasts were superb with lots of fresh fruit, range of cereals, breads, croissants and pastries as well as cooked dishes. Tea and coffee were available self service at any time of day or night. The great pool was a welcome relief after a day in the Singapore heat. The hotel is designed in such a way that although fully booked while we were there, we rarely saw or heard anyone else. The greatest asset of this small hotel, however, is all its wonderfully friendly, helpful staff who made us feel we were really important and the only ones staying rather than part of a production line of tourists. They were very knowledgable about Singapore and happily chatted and answered our many questions.

The tour was expertly planned by The Aurora Travel and Travel Triangle, with knowledgeable guides, comfortable accommodations and authentic local cuisine, though we are vegetarians the planners took care that we were served with vegan options.Vietnam has stolen a piece of my heart.
