Some aspects of the tour was not as shown in the itinarary like houseboat was given but in a secluded place an area where only we found ourselves in the river showing that we were taken else where instead of proper alleypey backwater. Instead in the other places like kumarakoram i found many houseboats in the backwater which made me think that i was coned by the tour operator in the name of houseboat though the stay in the houseboat was good take care well by the concerned but it did not give me the feel that i was cruising in the backwater plus was coned with statment that would have a candel lite dinner in the boat which was not given but as houseboat already comes with the lunch dinner and breakfast package think it would have been fair that chrison tours would have given the same in a another hotel with dinner. Then again we were not guided properly with regards to travel as we almost reached in places way beyond the check in time making us waste our entire day doing nothing but only being in the hotel at evening hours as everthing else was closed after 5 pm. So it would be highly recommanded to reach places before time and not miss attraction as we did in many occassion leaving us half content with the tour. Only the best part was the hotels which made us feel good in the package as they were all four star rated. I had to remind the tour operator about my itinarary as they themself were not aware of what was promised by them as the driver refused to take us to destinations as listed in our portfolio, they had to be personally contacted an reminded to follow as given The hotel at munnar where we were situated on a hilltop with addin receiving good rainfall during our stay making it really a beautiful scenary in the midst of the mountain.

arrived the railway station early morning 2.30 but your cab arrived at 8 am. We were new that place. So that time some collapsed happen for us. Otherwise the driver and the trip all was nice. You booked the hotel room for us i munnar that also a little bit disappointed. That hotel has no proper chef. We ordered a food at 8.pm but food came at 10.pm and food was also not that much better.

Allepey houseboat was a unique experience for water cruise and overnight staying in the boat, but somewhat subpar in terms of absence of glitz, paucity of dining options, saltwater supply in bathrooms etc. Do not wish that this feedback be passed to houseboat operators, it is what it is and traveller should understand what they are getting into, that is look beyond how it is marketed. Need to appreciate that after buying the package, not an extra penny was asked anywhere. Do not sleep during the drives from Kochi to Munnar, to Thekkady, to Allepey- or you will miss beautiful forest and mountain scenery!
