The requirements for travel were either COVID-19 vaccination certificate or COVID-19- testing for non-vaccinated people. This IS NOT REQUIRED according to the VFS site and should not have been there on the list. This was a waste of money and added hassle. 2. TIPS: It was mentioned tips are mandatory and $5 per person/day was to be collected. But when we landed no one mentioned or collected it. When we left Cairo for other cities and the cruise - everyone asked for tips, which we paid. Found out the on-ground people had not communicated about it and the end vendor wasn't aware or wasn't receiving it. So we ended up paying more than what was necessary. My suggestion is to let customers know that tipping is a part of Egyptian tourism culture and what the normal/general tips are let them handle it so that at least the deserving people receive it. 3. The cabin for the cruise was a bit small for 3 people. I wish during planning I was offered a few choices about different sized rooms with each costing so that I could make an informed decision.
