However, since they do multiple runs with different tourists, your timings could vary at times by 15-20 minutes. > Hotels were great - Hotel Megapode (excellent beachside view), Havelock Holiday Beach Resort (decent enough, but there are probably better options available) and Pearl Park Beach Resort in Neil Island (this was pretty amazing and is just next to Laxmanpur Beach) > Cruise travel was fun. One Sealink ship got cancelled (from Neil Island to Port Blair) so we were adjusted in ITT - this was a bummer as we left for Port Blair at 12 noon, instead if 10:30 AM as scheduled. > Some local drivers were in a rush and also lied about the museum timings. When we asked that we wanted to visit the anthropological museum as it was in our schedule, he said it is closed and will open at 3 PM. However, it was open all along and we did visit it. The drivers WILL ALWAYS try to adjust your visit to their timings, so be firm on this part. It's not your headache that they have to pickup and drop other tourists. We missed out visiting the Fisheries museum and the light and sound show at Cellular Jail because of this. > Also, there are several things that should have been advised by the tourist agency. This are my own recommendations: 1. Try to visit Radhanagar beach at Havelock twice. It is simply incredible to swim in the waves there. Kalapathar beach is small and boring and only meant for clicking pics for max 1-1.5 hours. 2. Corbyn Cove beach does not have a sunset point. It is, however, a very pleasing place to be in the evening and there are plenty of waves to have fun in. However, it is not the same as Radhanagar. 3. On Ross Island, take the e-rickshaw (INR 80 per person) immediately at the start else there will be a very long queue and you could be in danger of missing your boat by the time you return. 4. Visit Bharatpur beach in the morning. There are no waves in the afternoon and the water levels subside by evening. 5. Do Scuba diving in the morning.
