Garima's 7 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

In-spite of multiple times telling before trip confirmation that we don't need Bolero for trip, it can be any other car and it was verbally confirmed many times, but we got only "BOLERO" for 2 day trip of Lachung and Lachen. It is not at all acceptable. We hate Bolero. That 2 day journey was not good in BOLERO. Rest all was fine. Also, I do not recommend Travel triangle as the exact same thing happened to us twice.

Lachen and Lachung was nice experience. Driver was very good and covered all places as expected. Gangtok local sightseeing would have been better to cover all places. One point I insist to improve is that drivers should fix next day timing and schedule well in advance not on the morning.

Bhupendra's 6 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

Only hotel kaso provided at Gangtok was nice. Hotels provided at North Sikkim lachen and lachung was not good. Room service at these places was not good. Food quality at all hotels were nice. Only cab provided for transfer from NJP to Gangtok was nice. All others cab was not good. Drivers attitude of all cabs was good. All issues related with tour was addressed quickly by travel agent of We Care Holidays. Darjeeling trip was not managed well by local coordinator. Trip at zero point and kalapathar was on extra cost but still memorable.

Moiz's 8 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

We recently concluded our trip, Sikkim is gorgeous, filled with natural beauty of all kinds. Our itinerary was Gangtok (2N) -> Lachung (1N) -> Lachun (1N) -> Gangtok (1N) -> Pelling (2N) Our experience with Sikkim Hills Tours and Travels was mixed - good in certain aspects and not good in some others.  Positives: - Got good drivers on most days, except one, and they were punctual etc.  - Hotels in Gangtok and Lachung were good. Negatives: - Biggest complaint - disconnect between what was discussed on phone and what happened in reality. During trip planning, Mr Krishna was very informal and had said "aap tension mat lo, sab ho jayega", but during trip the itinerary document was treated as sacrosanct although a lot of things which were discussed (promised) verbally never made it there and had a lot of inaccuracies. Moral of the story - don't take whatever Mr Krishna says on face value and force for inclusion of things in formal Travel Triangle itinerary.  - Hotel in Pelling was bad, had no water or power for most part of our stay, Sikkim Hills Tours and Travels never even acknowledged my problem when I brought it to their attention forget doing anything to get it fixed. - Lesser price of their quote for my trip was arrived at by cutting corners, that is excluding things which were included by other agent, so ended up being more expensive in reality

Sonali's 9 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

Travelled Sikkim from 1st Apr 22 to 9th Apr 22 with Wife and 7 year’s old kid. Stayed in Gangtok (3 days), Lachen (1 Day), Lachung (1 Day), Pelling (2 Days) and Darjeeling (1 Day). Travel Partner – Travel Triangle Travel Agent – Yes Tourism India ( Reva and Kirti) Transportation – Mr Vijay.   Overall trip experience was OK, expected to be more joyful. Couldn’t happen due to lack of good hotels and sometime issue with transportations.   1st and 2nd day experience in hotel in Gantok (The Royal Residency by Jain Group) was NOT at all GOOD. Put up in ground floor and 3-4 guys banging Hotel main door at 12:30 in the night. Had to go and wake up the sleeping staff to see what’s the issue. It was not at all pleasant experience. Next morning, asked for room change and shifted to first floor, where things were OK. Food was good.   3rd Day Hotel in Lachen (Klifton Crown) was good considering the weather and being a small town.   4th Day Hotel in Lachung (Lachung Klifton) was Pathetic. A so called 3 star hotel was just a 10*10 room with not even a simple hanger to put the cloths, forget about almirah and all. Everything had to be put on floor. To add more horror, called twice the coordinator to clean flying bees and cobweb. It was really a Horrible experience.   5th Day experience in hotel in Gangtok (The Royal Residency by Jain Group) was OK. Provided good room and food was good same as last time.   6th and 7th Hotel in Pelling (Jain Group Sonamchen) was good at first night and same prob again in second night. No Control of Hotel Management on Guests making noises at 2 AM in the night. Had to get up make complain but no action. Morning same response, Sorry Sir, Can’t do anything.   8th Day hotel in Darjeeling (Udaan hotel zambala retreat) was ok. Food and services were fine. Only problem is location being in crowded place, near to railway station, outside noise.   May be Yes Tourism ‘s coordinator Reva and Kirti, could not understand my requirements and kept making mistakes. Hotels were of Average quality and they were keep saying it’s 3-4 star hotels   Transportation -  Mr Vijay was very good and patient. Travelling with him was joy. Always ready to take small breaks and help. But his colleague Mr Nagen (assigned for Lachen & Lachung) provided by Mr Baichung, was good for Day one. But on Day 2, He decided that he will not go to Zero Point, and in spite of multiple requests, He did not go. He accepted that He did not wish to come to Lachen/Lachung and was forced to do so. Now he will not Go, do whatever you want, were his final words. Couldn’t see zero point and dropped to Gangtok at 5:00 PM in the evening. Left extremely disappointed. Same thing is done by Mr Vimal not to visit Samdrupse in Namchi, even after informing in advance that we wish to visit. He refused to go (Additional point on additional cost)   Final Feedback : Yes Travel : Avoid if Possible, due to not fulfilling their commitments and Just get the booking kind of attitude. Transportation : Mr Vijay–We as tourist travel once in years, and like to explore maximum. Please Do not assign un-committed & non-interested drivers. It’s very disappointing when we get arrogance and cold response from the drivers. Travel Triangle: Might not go for next trip,  for their dipping quality of travel partners.
