Sneha's 2 days trip to Kashmir

At first, I was reluctant to book my trip with Travel Triangle as nowadays there are lot of fake websites and agents but seeing their payment terms which was to be done in three installments, I decided to book the trip with travel Triangle. Only 30% of the amount to be paid before the start of the trip and all the payment to be done through website build a sense of trust on them. They also assured that all the agents are verified ones. So, I confirmed my booking with Design your trips as the budget suited me well. The trip manager handled the queries very well, be it early morning or late night she was available to answer and make changes in my itinerary according to my needs. But just after payment of the 1st installment she informed that the hotel I have selected is not available and she suggested me a different hotel near to the previous one. I reacted negatively as how can she do this after payment but later I accepted it as the hotel turned out to be a good one with good staff and food. Also, she said that all hotels including houseboats in Srinagar have 24 hours check in and check out facility but that was again told to convince the customers, and we were told that at the houseboat that the check-out time is 12 o clock. Overall, the hotel was good, but the Cab driver was not up to the mark. Throughout the journey he was driving very roughly which is the last thing to do in the hilly terrains of Srinagar and Gulmarg. Before reaching Gulmarg, he stopped the vehicle at Tangmarg saying that we need to book a different vehicle from there for our onward journey to Gulmarg as the weather is not good uphill. But as guided by the tour manager if there is no snowfall there is no need of chained vehicles, and the same agency vehicle will go uphill. After bit of protesting he agreed to continue but he tried his best to avoid going for the side scenes stating that only local vehicles are allowed to do so. Even being the local of Srinagar, he did not guide while visiting the local sightseeing of Srinagar. Also want to inform that staying in houseboat include booking a Sikara for going to and fro to the houseboat which was provided free of cost only once. Overall, the experience was good with smooth payment system and customer friendly tour and travels providing customized trips. Gulmarg gondola, sikara ride at dal lake

The team has given me fir best price and options but only one thinf is the cabs which i got was bad condition one first of all when we pay good amount y the cabs which got is a bad one. My whole family suffered entire one day because of that. Travel triangle team should validate before giving these cab. Rest all was good the agents have taken care. Positive: 1. Overall trip was good, most of the schedules & coordination are on time except those mentioned in negative. 2. Hotels review: Driftwood hotel at port blair was good however, their washroom was quite small but food was good, Ocean Tree Hotel at Havelock was very good property & all facility including pool, private beach, food all are excellent, small hitch we faced was frequent power shutdowns but they restore the power immediately. Hotel Pearl Park at Neil was also excellent property & its location & food was very good, but the property lacks regular maintenance some facility was out of service. But overall good hotel. 3. All coordinating person has promptly assisted during our water activities like, sea walk, scuba diving and other activity. Negative 1. No information given to team at Neil Island for our coming, contact number provided for person at Neil was not picking calls, even when I call to Delhi office (Ms Smita), she told that we are informing wait at your location & never called back to know our status. This caused us to wait for more than 1hr 30 min at Neil Jetty. 2. Even during booking package, it was agreed that Green Ocean ferry shall not be booked and only Makruss/Nautica/ITT majestic shall be booked. However, from returning from Neil to Port blair, Green ocean ferry was booked, which make us suffer in suffocating cabin of Green Ocean. 3. We are 2 family going together for trip and told to plan visit timing together but the tickets of light and sound show at cellular Jail having different timing. Feedback for improvement: The point mentioned in Negative may be work upon so that such issue may not be faced by other. Further, before visit, if it was guided better what required during visit, network issues, etc may be helpful future travelers. Many of them, first Scuba diving, radhanagar beach, laxman pur sunset

My travel agent was like " we can't guide drivers (who was assigned by them) but can guide customers as drivers are hired through third parties" . What they should understand is their reputation is tied with the assigned guide/driver, & they can't simply deny their responsibility
