Mugdha's 8 days trip to Sri Lanka

We didn't like the hotels at Galle and Kalutara... The beach was not good to play... instead we could have stayed at bentota where beaches were good....also in Galle hotel should be somewhere near the market area or the fort...that area is beautiful We enjoyed Nuwara eliya... Loved Seeta Amman temple....boat Safari was also good

Gkrishnavikas's 5 days trip to Tamil Nadu

I have booked a package with travel triangle and visited places Madhurai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Trivandrum. The process was clearly explained and itenrary was given as per our requirement. We have got an excellent driver named Hussain. To my surprise he was very knowledgeable explaining about the history and importance of the places a d temples we have visited. He had never wanted our time and always shows up on time. We have travelled along with my grandmother aged 85 and never faced any issues due to the driver who managed to drop and pick up at nearest or least walking distances. We managed to cover the below places in our 4 night 5 days trip. We were total 8 ( along with my 85 years grand mother and 3 years kid) Madurai (Hotel Rajadhane) 1. Meenakshi and Sundareshwar Temple 2. Thirumala Nayakkar Mahal 3. Gandhi memorial museum 4. Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam 5. Lord Murugan Pzhalamudir solai 6. Azhagar koyil Rameshwaram (Hotel Rameshwaram Grand) 1. Abdul Kalam Memorial 2. Lakshmana teertham 3. Panchamukha anjaneyar 4. Floating stones shrine 5. Natarajan temple 6. Rama teertham 7. House of Abdul Kalaam 8. Kalaam sea shell Mart (Shopping at govt complex) 9. Dhanushkodi 10. Kodandarama temple 11. Rameshwaram temple Kanyakumari (Hotel Gopinivas grand) 1. Vattakotti fort 2. Sunset point 3. Musical fountain 4. Sunrise point 5. Kanyakumari amman temple 6. Vivekananda Rock memorial 7. Thiruvalluvar statue Poovar, Kovalam & Trivandrum (Hotel Golden sands resort, kovalam) 1. Poovar island golden beach and back waters 2. Kovalam beach 3. Anantha padmanabhan temple Many thanks to travel triangle, postcard trip and driver Hussain) All the places were best. But the places which we liked most were Kanyakumari and Poovar island

Kajok's 14 days trip to Egypt

My experience with Tripoholidays in particular for my 2 week solo vacation to Jordan was very good and I will definitely recommend their services to all. Even after payments were made and I was in Jordan, Mr. Sumit and Aman from Tripoholidays made sure to check on me with the local guide in Jordan, which i really appreciate. They gave me the option to modify my itinerary as per my liking and responded to all my messages and requests during my entire stay in Jordan. My trip would not have been as memorable without the services of Mr. Salah who was my local guide/driver in Jordan. Mr. Salah was very professional throughout and I will definitely recommend his services to anyone travelling to Jordan whether in a group or travelling solo. Besides this I would also like to mention that Traveltriangle customer service is quite poor with regards to response time. I called up customer service repeatedly to get a new quote. I did not get any call from the management so I finally decided to call up Tripoholidays directly as my flight tickets were booked and I needed someone to expedite the process. Mr. Sumit was kind enough to revert back immediately thereafter. On the last day of my trip Mr. Salah arranged a home cooked Jordanian meal for me in Amman with his family. This was one of the best memories of my entire trip.

Shatabdi's 11 days trip to Egypt

We went to Egypt and Jordan and we had an overall ok experience and honestly the experience would have been more or less same if we would have planned the holiday ourselves instead of hiring a travel agent. Although I must mention that the Jordan leg was way better then Egypt , long story short the agents did't add much value and I would rather recommend to plan the trip yourself. Below is the detailed feedback What worked well a. Guides in Alexendria , Cairo , Abu Simbel and Luxor - Guides in all these 4 locations were great. They took us around all the spots and explained us the history and significance of those spots very well. b. Awesome Jordanian experience thanks to Travanco and Mr Wahid (our driver cum guide) - The Jordanian experience was amazing and everything was well planned. Starting from the visa assistance in Amman airport to hotels and site seeing in Petra and Wadi rum. A special call out to Mr Wahid who was amazing. c. Assistance provided by Mr Sumit and Mr Karan with Jordanian visa - Apprently the Jordanian visa rules had changed for Indians by the time we travelled and we were not allow to board our flight from Mumbai because of that. And while it was a shocker for us to know that the travel agent did't know about the change (see below for details) , it was good to have Mr Sumit and Mr Karan providing adequate support in ensuring we are able to travel to the country as a part of our plan. In other words they were able to make arrangements in short timeframe which ensured that we were able to get into Jordan , although that cost us an additional 120 USD overall. d. Hotels - Overall the hotels in Egypt and Jordan were great. What did't go well a. Visa assistance (before travel) with Jordanian visa - Although Mr Sumit and Mr Karan were able to make arrangements to allow us enter Jordan , it was surprise to see that they were not aware of the changes to the Jordanian visa policy. When we hire travel agents to help us with holidays , we expect them to be up to date with the visa policy changes etc for the destination country. Eventually because of this we had to have an additional 120 USD added to the cost and not to mention go through some tense moments. I would like to state that we did ask for the Jordanian visa assistance in last week of December itself , after we got our Egyptian visa well before our travel dates to Mr Yatharth as well as Mr Sumit , and we were told that its visa on arrival so we should not worry. But Jordan had changed their visa policy early december and they were not aware of it. Eventually they mentioned that its airline's responsibility to inform passengers but I dont think I can buy that. Anyways all is well that ends well as we were able to make it to Jordan eventually - thanks to the last minute effort from Mr Sumit and Karan. Having said that they can act more professional for future and keep themselfs updated with the visa policy changes. b. Lack of clarity on cash requirements - We had asked time and again to Mr Yatharth how much of cash shall we carry and we were told that we just have to carry cash worh 20,000 INR. But well guess even they are not aware of the fact that credit cards are not widely accepted in Egypt , or they just casually replied - neverthless it was quite unprofessional as we had to make multiple ATM withrawals for cash in Egypt. Also suddenly in the tour Mr Ali (Egyptian counterpart of flying feet) asked for an additional 80 USD as hotel gurrentee for Aswan and Luxor hotel - something which we were not informed earlier. c. Aswan travel arrangements and guide - We took a 17 hour long train journey from cairo to Aswan and upon reaching Aswan at 1 , we wanted to go to hotel to freshen up before we start the tour. However I guess the hotel was not booked or our guide told that the checkin is not until 2. So we were to drag ourselfs through the Philae temple tour which we did't enjoy much as we were touring without any shower or bio break. Add to that Mr Nasser (our guide) was not at all good. He was constantly making comments like "maharani" to my wife despite us requesting him not to. For me he seeom to be a local goon rather then a guide. Eventually we checked into hotel at 4 and the hotel was nice , but then while we covered our itinary for Aswan , it was not enjoyble. d. Aswan to Luxor transfer - We took the Abu Simbel tour and upon our return we had to followup for the driver and the Luxor hotel where we to check in. Also in hotel we had no assistance and the staff were not expecting us. Again we had to follup with Mr Ali to have that issue resolved. Overall we could sense that the Aswan and Luxor leg was not planned at all and got planned at the last minute which was quite unprofessional e. Tips - Mr Ali on first day took tip money for drivers and ball boys however again we had to tip the drivers seperately. As a matter of fact they demanded money (especially Mr Hani who took us from Aswan to Luxor). f. Refund of cash - Mr Ali had taken an additional 90 USD (for jordanian visa and any other ad hoc tours) and then later 80 USD for hotel gurrentee. We took inner pyramid tour so considering all we were supposed to get 126 USD cash back from Mr Ali , which he promised to return on last day at airport. But guess what , on last day when we called him , he mentioned that he does't have people and the refund will take time. We had to wait until last minute to get our money back. That too we got only 100 USD and it took some additional followups from Mr Karan to get the remaining 26 USD back. It left a very bad taste for us and I dont think I would ever like to deal with Mr Ali in future.

Dipankar's 7 days trip to Jordan

I would like to thank TravelTriangle, our travel agent - Anshul-Passionate Discoveries Travels to put us through Travco Jordan. Travco Jordan were the ones who handled our travels in Jordan - from assisting in visa at the point of entry, transfers from the airport to the hotel, daytime sightseeing, travel guide etc. I would definitely recommend everyone to travel to Jordan and exploring it with Travco Jordan is a good way to do it. They have good drivers and English-speaking travel guides, who take you along. Were a group of 7 strangers in a comfortable van, but eventually made an awesome group of friends and memories. We had a travel-guide, who was knowledgeable, but was always in a rush to get over with things. With the itinerary we went with - we were to explore Amman city on our own. Uber works well within Amman. The hotel we stayed in Amman, Rum Arts Hotel (Al-Waleed) didnt provide great service with its food, not much of vegetarian option provided but the location, room quality was good. Hotel Petra Palace (Petra Stay) , The Grand East Resort (Dead Sea) are good places to stay, have food, explore and were really satisfactory. Our stay at Hillawi Camp (Wadi Rum) was decent, it wasnt a great camp, but yes Wadi Rum is a magical place, we explored it well by a desert night safari, night star gazing (not included in the itinerary), but highly recommeded. In Petra, we had to walk around 10km to reach the monastery (Ad-Deir) from the Petra Visitor Centre, to climb those 800 steps is exciting and also needs a good fitness level, shoes etc. I would not recommend the paid night visit to the Treasury, Petra, not much happens out there, it makes more sense to utilize those 17JD someplace else - probably at the Wadi Mujib (Al Siq Trail ) near Dead Sea is more exciting. Watch few youtube videos to know more about it. Do not miss the Al-Joun Fort, Jerash trip, if you love Roman history, ruins, this is going to be a good day-trip. Few tips from my side to make the Jordan trip with Travco more awesome - 1. Make a visit to Aqaba - the down south portcity of Jordan. It's ike an easy 2 hr drive from Wadi Rum - beaches, malls, a little fort, jelly fish, submerged tanks , an Israeli city across the sea makes it worth it. (not included in the itinerary, we paid extra to visit it) 2. Visit Al Maghtas (Jesus Baptizaiton site), there is something unique about this place, the feeling is sacred to watch the Jordan river flow, dangle your legs on its edge and let the feeling sink in (not included in the itinerary, we paid extra to visit it) 3. Do not pay 17JD for the night visit to Treasury, Petra. Not recommended. It's dark, crowded, a lot of camera flashes and nothing unique about it. 4. Buy drinking water cheaper in some general stores, a little bargain would really help. 5. Give yourself sometime to explore Amman City in the itinerary - the view from the Citadel is a must go place during the evening,Blue Mosque, stroll in the Rainbowstreet with visit to few eateries like Books Cafe, Hashims, Al Quds etc would be great (not included in the itinerary, take help of Uber, Google Maps and do it on your own) 6. Use Zain simcard. It has the best coverage in Jodran. Umniah, the other operator wont work in remote areas of Wadi Rum, Petra etc 7. Ask for sea-facing, pool facing rooms at the resorts of Dead Sea beforehand and have clarity about it , because the view other side aint great. 8. Carry an umbrella, a good pair of shoes, sun-screen lotion if you are there during summer 9. At times, the travel guide would get you into few shops to buy souveniers, but thats your call, you might get those at better prices someplace else too, so dont be in a hurry 10. Please be sure who would be your point of contact for any issues from Travco Jordan, because for us, they never gave us a point of contact for customer support. We used to talk to our travel guide, or with the representative who came to receive us at the airport etc, but never knew any senior 's number from Travco. Rest, we had an wonderful time exploring Jordan. The country is a hidden gem, amidst war-torn countries like Syria, Iraq, S.Arabia not even for a moment we felt unsafe walking Jordanian streets, the people, the culture is beautiful, the country's stunning landscape, history leaves me mesmerized and wanting for more. The country is tourist-friendly, Travco Jordan, Anshul -Passionate Discoveries ( our travel agents) have been equally professional, responsive and acted positively to make our trip, a successful one. Highly recommended group tour !!

Arvind's 5 days trip to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is an island country..where the contours of the land itself forms a kind of sinewy poetry. A very special island that travellers, from Sinbad to Marco Polo, dreamed about and with similar aspirations, me and my fiancée decided to visit SL for our honeymoon. We explored different options and stumbled upon Travel Triangle, who seemed well versed with SL, were offering competitive prices. Had a Chat an online agent - Swati and within a day, we received 4 quotes from 4 Vendors. We decided to go forward with 'Direct Link' as the Travel Co-ordinator Anto, was polite/courteous, knowledgable and honest, was able to understand our requirements and provide the best tour schedule i.e 5 days and 4 nights at Colombo/Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Nuwara Eliya - Bentota - Bentota/Colombo. This ensured that we were able to enjoy various topographies urban/hill station/mountains/beach. Anto co-ordinated end to end right from time we had initial chat to the time we completed the tour. We Had to pay 10% as Booking and the remaining amount was paid just before we boarded our flight to Colombo from Chennai. ( They do give option to pay the remaining amount on arrival in Colombo, however, with network issues, it might be tad difficult, esp in receiving OTPs et all) Mr Hafis was our assigned tour guide as well as transporter. He was a through professional, brilliant knowledge and insights on the tourist places. He was so amazing with providing all the statistics, dates, dimensions, USPs of the places that made us admire and appreciate the places even more than we would have probably done. Also, special mention about his driving skills, we spent so much time on road but not once we experienced any jerk or lack of comfort. All the Hotels were brilliant - Topaz (Kandy) , Galway Heights(Nuwara Eliya) and Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa (Bentota). Staff, Room/View from Room and Food. Word of caution - If you are a VEG like me, it is rather important that you let reception know about it , as and when you check-in the hotel. Direct Link are experts in chalking out the travel schedule in such a way that you enjoy the max number of tourist places in as little time as possible. Of all the travel options provided, we enjoyed the below mentioned the most - Ambevala Farm, Strawberry Farm Batik Factory and Gems Museum Bluefield Tea Estate ( Mohamed the Tea Guide was Brilliant) Ramboda, Devon and St Clair's Falls Gangaramaya Temple Gregory Lake Hanuman Temple and Sita Amman Kovil Kandy Lake, Temple of Tooth Relic and Kandyan Cultural Show, Upper Lake Drive Madu River Safari - CINNAMON ISLAND-BUDDHIST TEMPLE-HINDU TEMPLE - DELTA- FISH FARM Marine Drive Important National Monuments Nuwara Eliya Post Office and Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage ( Break Fast at Villa Pinnewala) Addressing the elephant in the room, the security in SL post the 21st April attacks is pretty heavy and upto the mark. Just be prepared for random checks of the car by the Sri Lankan Army. However, it does not have much impact on your experience. No matter where you go, you are greeted by the happily smiling Sri Lankan, as afterall they do hold the World Record of most plesant and smiling people in the world record i.e ~ 86% of the poulation (Another gem shared by our tour guide - Hafis) We had a great time in Lanka and take this opportunity to THANK Travel Triangle, Swati, Direct Link, Anto and Hafis for making this a beautiful trip that we will cherish forever.

Abhra's 6 days trip to Sri Lanka

We had a very memorable and wonderful trip to Sri Lanka and surely we will cherish it for life. Thank you TraVel Triangle for making it possible for us. The service provided was really commendable. I would have given 5 star for all the points but I am deducting a point as I had been promised a complimentary SIM card on arrival by Sara from self holidays which I never got. Though it was not much of a trouble without the SIM card but I feel you should provide everything that is being promised to customer. Other than that it was an awesome trip. Nuwara Eliya, Bentota are really awesome places. I had a great time snorkelling at Bentota and will cherish that memory forever. Visiting Seeta Amman temple and Ashok Vatika at Nuwara Eliya from our epic Ramayana right in front of our eyes just gave me goosebumps, it was as if I got transported back to that time of our history and culture 5000 years ago.
