Mauritius and the hotel name was Seaview Calodyne Beach Resort.
The booking experience was good. The hotel could have been better considering the location and vegetarian food options that we mentioned upfront. The resort booked was very far from all other hotels that others in the SIC tour had. Hen
ce we always had to daily start earlier (first pickup) and we're dropped last after the trip ended for the day. The agents could have clubbed this properly. The resort as such was good in terms of scenic location and hospitality of staff was excellent. But this was mostly occupied by foreigners and hence did not have vegetarian food options. It was all non vegetarian and we could just manage with the limited vegetarian option for dinner. The trips we're good and the best was catamaram cruise.

Good arrangements of sight seeing.
But fantasies mentioned like candle light dinner,honeymoon freebies,etc. are very normal...so don't choose agent based on such promises

Before you choose ur hotel, confirm either with the travel agent or hotel..what food you will be served.
I stayed in Seaview calodyne resort and veg food as well as service was not good at all.

Thank you so much for the lovely honeymoon!! The hotel we chose was Sea View Calodyne. It was the best!! The ambiance, view, rooms, room service was very very nice. We simply loved it! The cabs were always on time..The iternerary was as planned.There were no changes at the last moment. Special
thanks to Shweta from Verma Travels for helping us to choose this hotel.. Though not very costly, overall infrastructure was good and we really enjoyed our time there..
Best memories could be the adventures activities we did!! Like Nepalese bridge - it's a wooden bridge around 350 meters long connecting the valley from one end to the other. You have to cross it holding the ropes with both hands! It was really a thrilling experience.
Then we also did Parasailing and tube ride and enjoyed these water sports.
Tip - Do carry sun screen lotion during entire trip. It's very hot sometimes in Mauritius.
