    My trip to Shillong and Cherrapunji was organised by travel triangle in May end and below is my feedback for the same. Seldom does one get an honest and practical advices for planning a trip via travel agencies. Our trip was managed by Furkan and he clearly told us that Kaziranga will not be open at this time, something which other travel agencies were not transparent about. Starting from convincing us for this trip to making sure of our comforts, we have high praises for Furkan and the efforts he made to make our trip a success. We would not have been able to enjoy the beauty of North east otherwise. I wish to travel with you again, all thanks to Furkan and the entire team.

    Very good trip planned and managed by Mr. Mahendra Nath. No surprises. All went well as planned. Our Driver Ajkal was superb with great driving skills. He took us through extreme bad weather at Sela Paas , where other vehicles and drivers were struggling to drive on Snow. I strongly recommend Kaziranga tours and travels for people who are planning for Assam Arunachal and Meghalaya trip. All our hotels were superb.

    The hotel at kaziranga, Dhanashree Resort had lovely ambiance. But the morning breakfast buffet was pathetic.

    Overall trip conduct was good and nicely arranged. Itinerary was nicely scheduled by Nikita Chauhan from riefy, Nikita was in constant touch during our entire trip which we felt was very caring, however there was one thing that could have been corrected I.e the trek to double decker bridge and rainbow falls which we completed in one day should have been completed in 2 days as it was very difficult and we all were drained out by the time we reached so home stay near somewhere in the trek area is recommended. Timings of places should have been mentioned clearly as few places were shut down as we reached late so we missed places. Overall it was amazing trip and best part was Kaziranga and Rainbow falls was amazing . Would like to mention about Cab driver Rajeev as he was very good in terms of drive, locating places and reaching us safely.

    Trip could have been better managed on below points - Local agents did not receive the payments for Rides ( Kaziranga - Jeep Safari) for which we had already paid in advance to travel triangle due to which there was lot of confusion at site. - Agent nominated for Elephant Safari was least bothered of the guests and we had to face difficulties during elephant ride and there was huge delay. - Cherrapunji hotel ( 7 sister fall inn) was relatively new with no Cheff in the kitchen and very limited food options. - During checkout at Cherapunji , we were not allowed to checkout as agency did not pay the pending amount due to which we wasted almost one hour at the reception. - Agency called up Hotel ( Woodland - Shillong) only on the day we were going to checkin due to which we got room on the ground floor with absoulutely no view. When we enquired with Hotel, they said when agency booked the hotel that time they had many empty rooms but agency did not give any preference. Positive Points: - Driver was really good and cooperative

    Our tour was exactly as we wanted it. Kaziranga tours customized the package for us so we could spend a few extra nights in places that we wanted to. The hotels were as we had asked and were very appropriate for westerners like us traveling in India. Our driver and guide was also very good. He was always on time, explained the plans to us carefully and made sure we understood. How he navigates the roads of Assam and Meghalaya so well without a GPS is amazing. Even when we through him curve balls and wanted to see some other sites, he knew exactly how to navigate us there flawlessly. I highly recommend.
