Both Gypsy and Canter Safaris offer amazing views to capture as memoirs. However, gypsy safari is kinda private and a bit expensive from canters. If you are a group of 4 to 6 people, you may easily opt for a Gypsy Safari, and in case of a large group like 10 to 20 people, Canter Safari is the right option.
Ranthambore National Park remains open from 1st October to 30th June of every year. And, rest of the time park remains closed due to the rainy season, i.e. often from July to September. The best time to visit Ranthambore is from November to April.
The Ranthambore Park timings often depend on the sunrise and sunset. It opens to the tourists half an hour after sunrise and closes half an hour before sunset. And in winters, due to the shorter duration of daylight hours, the morning entry time is later and evening exit time is quite earlier. Morning Jungle safari is scheduled from 6.00 to 10.00 am and evening jungle safari runs from 2.30 to 6.30 pm.
For the best wildlife view, you may hop on a safari when the sun rays are not quite strong, i.e. early mornings or late evenings. However, morning safaris are better during summers and evening ones are better in the winters.
As Ranthambore is 180 kms from Jaipur and 280 kms from Agra, often visitors drive down to this place via Tonk (on the way from Jaipur) or Dausa (on the way from Agra). However, you may also take a train to Sawai Madhopur, for the town lies on the main Delhi - Mumbai train route and has excellent rail connectivity with all the major cities and station in India.

Trip to RajasthanI highly recommend Ganesham Tours and Travel. They had planned the trip very well including all the places I wanted to visit including Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Ranthambore. Mr. Saurabh was very attentive and provided good support throughout the trip. The hotels were good except for Hotel Sanjay Villas which was not that great due to hygiene issues. hotel kuchaman and ankur we're perfect for short stay. Dessert camp was average. The major let down of the trip was the driver who was not at all interested in showing us the places. He was more interested in things not present in the itinerary as he can make extra money in those trips. He used to force us to try additional services like dessert Safari outside the camp which was charged thrice the price. Apart from this he was a safe driver but his behavior was not welcoming. Jungle Safari was best. We saw the majestic wild cat. It was surreal experience.
Trip to RajasthanIt was a good experience . I had Jaipur(3d)-Ranthambore(1d)-Agra(1d). Driver -Anand Singh came to pick up us at early morning 6:30. He suggested to have tea on the way to Hotel and it was quite refreshing. Riva arranged early check-in for us as we reached in the morning without any extra pay. We did not follow an itinerary provided very strictly. We had good communication and coordination with Driver Anand singh. He took us to Amer fort and Nahargad fort on 1st day. Sunset at Nahargad was beautiful. Both these places are huge and little away from city hence it was good that we cover these places on single day. On second day we covered Hawa mahal, Shish mahal, Alberto and couple of more places. We did elephant ride in the evening which was a bit late and little disappointing but nice experience thou... Best option would have been - take elephant ride to Amer fort which is in morning time only (before 12). 3rd day we visited jantar mantar and local shops and then moved to Ranthambore by evening. We had early morning safari. Unfortunately could not see Tiger (luck part) but experience of safari was awesome. Hotel where you stay can easily manage your safari booking. We could not visit Ranthambore fort. We started travelling towards Agra and on the way we visited Bharatpur bird sanctuary where we could spend 2 hrs. which was less. Local guide says minimum 3 hr are needed to cover most of the places there. On final day we visited Tajmahal...we were lucky to celebrate our wedding anniversary at such a lovely place. then some local shopping and back to airport for return journey. Overall it was good. Good job Riva holidays.Only suggestion to Riva holidays would be - time to be visited and spent on sight seeing should be suggested and followed so as nothing can be missed
Trip to JaipurIt was good memorable trip, the driver Anand SINGH is an excellent driver who takes care and guides well without any expectations. He is sharp on time and was punctual. Being with kids it’s tough planning as scheduled and cover all the places of visit. He ensured we covered all the areas planned and are visited to our satisfaction. Also all our valuables were left in his car during trip and went unattended at our end without worries. Would be the person to have for service for any trips in Jaipur. Regarding agent, only thing that was not clear was the coverage or safari in package which was not updated till last minute had to book ourself. The agreement was to have end to end covered in package and quotation shared. But realised that safari was not covered only on the day of arrival at Ranthambore for stay. Luckily it was taken care by the hotel person and agent co-ordination. In all the trip was very well organised. Agents should be in constant touch to discuss on day today progress rather customer getting in touch. Minor follow ups, small small things matter a lot and makes a huge difference for customer satisfaction. Memories: We were late back from Ranthambore and missed chowki dhani on that day, Anand Singh ensured we do not miss anything and covered all the places planned to visit by replanning and covering all that was planned. The most memorable was arranging of Guide Ashok who was humble and knowledged person fit for the position of guiding the palace, Anand on fly arranged and ensured we did not miss anything in palace and it was memorable.

Trip to RajasthanWe have booked our trip through Tourpedia, Shrawan Singh Rathore was our trip manager. He was extremely responsible, guided us through the trip immensely well. In total it was a great experience with Tourpedia. Thank u for making the trip memorable for us. Ranthambore jungle safari, and stay at hotel Raj Bagh Resorts, Stay at Bhanwar Singh Palace.
