On your arrival in Cochin, our representative will meet you and take you on a scenic road trip to Munnar, driving alongside the vast stretches of tea plantations, beautiful colonial bungalows. Enjoy an exciting ride through the narrow roads and scenic views, time hugging yourself as you feel the cool breeze caressing your faces. This four hours road trip will enroute via spice plantations and beautiful of Valara and Cheeyappara Falls. The Cheeyappara Waterfall is on the Kochi - Madurai Highway (National Highway 49), between Neriamangalam and Adimali. It is in Idukki district, Kerala, India. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps. This is also a great place for trekking. As you reach Munnar, you will check-in to your hotel and have a relaxing nap. Trip was not so pleasant because of the following reason: During the whole trip i did not receive even the single call from agent about my trip to know how is my trip going, And I have booked for deluxe houseboat rated 3 star but to my surprise the house boat which have been provided doesn't even deserve the 1 star, it was too dirty (have seen lizard & roaches on houseboat) and food was also pathetic. As per the itinerary which have been provided to me it was clearly written that it will take 3.5 hrs of journey from Munnar to Allepy but it took 7 hours because of that i boarded late on houseboat.

So overall the package and the plan provide by Alia is good. I am very happy with the execution of the plan in real time. So first related hotel: The place is located is little far from the munnar town,but the surrounding with the nature and the environment is very pleasant and very peaceful.Room service is really awesome. Onething hotel can improve is providing the variety of food. Specially for the dinner , mostly menu related to junk food. Menu like South Indian related food also can provide like kids eatable foods . because room is located little far from town. Boat house : Really nice boat provided by indiavacation agent. It's really good and the room too very clean and spacious. Food providing in the boat house is very limited. Since I have booked sharing boat , the menu variety is good ,but providing very limited .if case if you go lately means about 5 to 10 mins late u can't get food , should eat what remaining is available. The menu should prepare accordingly based on the members available in the hotel , for 15 members ,the food is being prepared for only 12 persons. Sightseeing - most of the placed covered in the packages,overall good Cab driver: The role of the driver is like travel guide , since he's guiding our trip , where we should and visit he will decide , because he knows most of the places in the tour.but i got like he's not even speaking and also not guiding anything related to the sightseeing spots and he aware during peak time ,crowd will be there . But he hesitate to travel to sightseeing, if he's interested i could cover more sightseeing spots , but unfortunately not happens like that. So overall my rating will be 7/10

Place was good. However lack of proper communication by the driver was frustrating. We had to prompt him for everything to communicate regarding the travel plan. We missed out on Eraviculam national park due to that as he didnt mention untill muxh late that the park was closing. We expressed our desired to eat in authentic local places (small joints)but he kept taking us to multi cusine restaurants. Booking was made for 7 adults and 2 kids. However at all hotels booking was made only for 8 pax by the travrl agent. The tv in the boat house was not operational.

Our trip with travel triangle was good except hot water facility and the food at the hotel (veetee mid town)was not at all gud (dinner) breakfast was ok. Cab service: firstly the pick up time from the station was delayed we waited almost 3 hours. Secondly they have sent a person as driver whom doesn't know the route, address and sightseeing places. We had tough time in searching for the places but some how managed by using Google map but wasted time in getting the route by stopping here and there. The driver was flexible and friendly so we could manage. House boat: was wonderful,staff members were good,food awesome and satisfied but again there was no proper water facility apart from all these we really enjoyed the trip especially in backwaters of Alleppey it was a memorable trip. Thank you
