Bangkok attractions you can add to your city tour
The as-booked Bangkok tour covers SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds. If your family would rather trade one of those for Bangkok's landmark temples and palaces, tell your agent and they will build it into the same city-tour slot at no change to your hotels. These are the ones travellers ask for most.
| Attraction | Why families go | Entry fee | Timings |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Grand Palace | The former royal residence of the Kings of Siam, built in 1782 and kept in remarkable condition. It is Bangkok's single most visited landmark and an easy first stop for the history and the architecture. | 500 Baht | 8:30 am to 3:30 pm |
| Wat Pho | Home to the 46-metre gold-leaf Reclining Buddha and 108 bronze bowls. A short walk from the Grand Palace, and you can add an authentic Thai massage at the on-site school. Shoes come off at the entrance. | 100 Baht | 8:00 am to 6:30 pm |
| Wat Traimit | The temple of the Golden Buddha, a 5.5-tonne solid-gold statue in the Chinatown quarter. Quick to see and genuinely worth it. | 40 Baht | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm |
| Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall | A white-marble Renaissance-style hall used for royal ceremonies, now a museum of Thai arts and crafts. About 2.4 km from the city centre. | 150 Baht | open 24 hours |
Entry fees are set by each site and change from time to time. Your agent confirms the current rate when you customise. For a fuller list of things to do, see the Thailand tourism guide.

• Alcazar Show in Pattaya, one of Thailand's best-known cabaret productions.
• Bangkok city tour with SEA LIFE Ocean World and Madame Tussauds included.

Day-by-day itinerary
Every day below can be reshaped. The as-booked plan is shown first; the honest add-ons are the upgrades most Bangkok + Pattaya families ask for, and your agent prices them before you decide.
Day 1 in Pattaya: arrival, optional Coral Island day, Alcazar Show
You land at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, where the agent's representative meets you and drives you straight to your Pattaya hotel (about two hours, roughly 150 km). As booked, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax by the beach. If you would rather make it an active day, this is the slot for the Coral Island (Koh Larn) speedboat trip: a short ride from Bali Hai Pier out to white-sand beaches for snorkelling, parasailing, jet ski and banana-boat rides. Families with younger kids often swap it for the Sanctuary of Truth, an all-teak carved temple on the coast. In the evening you head to the Alcazar Show, a colourful cabaret that runs through Thai culture and history, then back to the hotel for the night.
Day 2, Bangkok: transfer, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE Ocean World
After breakfast you check out and drive to the capital, Bangkok. The included city tour takes in SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, one of Southeast Asia's largest aquariums, where kids can walk the underwater tunnel past sharks, rays and hundreds of marine species, and Madame Tussauds, the wax museum with film stars, athletes and world leaders. Prefer heritage over wax and aquariums? Swap in the Grand Palace and Wat Pho from the list above. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 in Bangkok: city time, optional floating market
A slower day. After a hearty hotel breakfast, the plan is leisure: browse the street markets, ride a river boat, or eat your way through Bangkok's food stalls. Families who want more structure add the Damnoen Saduak floating market in the morning, where vendors sell fruit, noodles and souvenirs from wooden boats, or a half-day at Safari World and Marine Park for the animal shows. Evening is free, then back to the hotel.
Day 4, Bangkok: departure
Your 3 nights 4 days family trip winds down. Enjoy a final breakfast at the Bangkok hotel, check out, and transfer to the airport for your flight home. If your flight is later in the day, ask your agent about a short stop at Sriracha Tiger Zoo on the way, an easy add-on for families with kids.
Customise your Pattaya and Bangkok days
The package as priced is a relaxed Bangkok-heavy plan. If your idea of Pattaya is a day on the water, these are the honest upgrades, named so you know exactly what you are adding. They are not included in the Rs 19,124 base fare; your agent quotes each one when you customise:
• Coral Island (Koh Larn) speedboat day, with snorkelling, parasailing, jet ski and banana boat.
• Sanctuary of Truth, the carved all-teak seafront temple in Pattaya.
• Damnoen Saduak floating market, a classic half-day trip near Bangkok.
• Safari World & Marine Park, Sriracha Tiger Zoo, animal parks that suit families with children.
• Bangkok temples, swapping in the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Traimit for the wax-and-aquarium stops.

FAQs About Thailand Family Packages
How much does this 3 nights 4 days Thailand package cost?
It starts at INR 19,124 per person on twin sharing (recently reduced from ₹23,905), for the month of July 2026. That covers hotels, daily breakfast from Day 2, the Alcazar Show, the Bangkok city tour with SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds, and all transfers. Optional add-ons like a Coral Island day are quoted separately.
Can I customise this itinerary?
Yes, fully. You can swap the Pattaya leisure day for a Coral Island speedboat day, trade the wax-and-aquarium stops for Bangkok's temples, add a floating market or an animal park, or extend the trip. Personalise the request, then up to three verified agents send you quotes to compare.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation and refund terms depend on the agent and how far ahead of departure you cancel, so confirm the exact window and charges in writing before you pay. Payments can usually be made in installments.
Is this package suitable for families with kids and seniors?
Yes. It is built for families: SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds work well for children, the pace is relaxed with a full leisure day, and the Coral Island water sports and animal parks are easy add-ons for kids. Seniors get short travel days and plenty of downtime.
What is the Coral Island (Koh Larn) day and is it included?
Coral Island, or Koh Larn, is a short speedboat ride from Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier, known for clear water, snorkelling, parasailing, jet ski and banana-boat rides. It is not part of the base fare on this relaxed plan, but it is the most popular optional upgrade for the Pattaya day and your agent prices it on request.
Is Pattaya worth visiting with family?
Yes. There is plenty for every age: water parks and the Coral Island beaches for kids, a calm beachfront for grandparents, the Alcazar Show in the evening, and island-hopping trips the whole family can do together.
How far is Pattaya from Bangkok?
About 150 km, roughly a two-hour drive. That short hop is exactly why the two pair so well in one short trip, and why the transfer between them is included in this package.
How much does a trip to Pattaya cost on its own?
For Pattaya alone you might spend somewhere between ₹18,000 and ₹45,000 for 2 nights and 3 days, depending on your hotel, airfare and inclusions. Since Bangkok is only two hours away, pairing the two (as this package does) usually gives better value.
How many days are enough for a Thailand trip?
For a first, focused Bangkok and Pattaya trip, 3 nights and 4 days is a comfortable minimum, which is what this package delivers. If you want to add islands like Phuket or Krabi, plan 5 to 7 days instead.
Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?
Indian passport holders can get a visa on arrival, valid for 15 days, at designated immigration checkpoints. You carry a passport-size photo and proof of funds (around 10,000 Baht per person or 20,000 Baht per family). Check the latest rule before you fly, as Thailand updates its entry scheme from time to time.
Which Indian cities have flights to Thailand?
Direct flights run from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, among other metros, into Bangkok's international airports. Your agent can fold flights into the quote or price the package land-only.
What should we pack and when is the best time to go?
November to February is the cool, dry, best time to visit. Pack light natural fabrics, and add reef-safe sunscreen, a sun hat and sunglasses if you plan the Coral Island day; a mosquito repellent is useful too. Dress modestly at temples: cover shoulders and knees.
