This was a fantastic trip! Everything went smoothly, and Bhutan Rental & Travel did everything to make it as good an experience as possible.Prena from Bhutan Rental & Travel was very friendly, helpful and was coordinating through out our visit .Driver Rikesh was very kind and helpful too. Bhutan is a must visit place, beautiful, peaceful , great people and good food .Starting from the flights to paro we had a breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Tiger Nest, Do Chu La Mountain Pass, Fortress in Punakha , local Bhutanese food all these were the major attractions !! Hotels/resorts booked by the agent were good except Udumwara Resort on the last day of our trip .Rooms were not tidy, seems the renovation work was not completed and even the food options were very limited . All in all we loved Bhutan and hope to return some day.

Karteek's 5 days trip to Bhutan

I have just returned from an amazing holiday organised by Bhutan Red Robes Destination. I was convinced when I had contacted Red Robes Destination, the owner MR Subash Brrd, that I was not going to get a commercial experience but instead one that was suitable for me. He made it possible for me to make a trip out on such short notice by helping me to expedite my requirements. He really went above and beyond to accommodate to my dates of travel. He was extremely responsive and replied to every single one of my questions in detail. It was extremely reassuring. The trip was 5 days and 4 nights – Timphu (2D) and Paro (2D). The crew he put together was amazing. I should personally thank Mr David Bruce who understood us what we were looking for in the trip and upon listening carefully to our likes and dislikes he had made our itinerary flexible which included both beautiful landscapes and a cultural tour. And he even suggested a few things for us to get the full experience we wanted. He also became my guide for the whole trip. David Sir had also taken us out to get a feel of the local hood which was a really fun experience. I believed we had the true authentic experience. David didn’t feel like a guide, we became good friends after. He is a very warm and kind person. He did things from his heart. I felt like he was a true reflection of the calm Bhutanese spirit. My trip to Bhutan was better than I had imagined and exactly what I needed. This would not have been possible without Bhutan Red Robes Destination. The highlight was the Dochula Pass and got a chance to see Himalayan mountain ranges of Bhutan......What a wonderful day. Some of the highlights are “Buddha Dordenma Statue “, "Simply Bhutan (Living Museum)", "Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Bazaar", "Paro valley following thru Wang Chhu and Pa Chhu rivers”, “National Museum – Housed in the Ta Dzong (Watch Tower) of the Rinpung Dzong", "Paro Dzong, built in 17th century". Special Thanks to Mr Bhuman Sharma our Photographer, in spite of his busy schedule of his wedding which is within a week time, he could able to travel with us through our trip  for capturing amazing clicks. I will never forget you all & I recommend Bhutan Red Robes Destination whoever is planning for Bhutan. With sincere appreciation for making it all possible. Yuktha, Kalyani & Karteek :)

First, Thank you for your wonderful service and arrangements we both the families had during our visit to Bhutan. Let me provide you the feedback/ recommendations of our entire experience 1. Transportation: Firstly, I am very thankful for providing an amazing driver, Dorji Wangdi, who was very patient, kind, gentleman and an excellent guide. He was wonderful and very helping nature throughout our entire trip. The vehicle was good and well maintained and we never felt stressed throughout. His services were impeccable, and I would definitely recommend him for all tourists who visit Bhutan. 2. Itinerary: The whole trip was planned well, but we felt we were in the vehicle most of the times. Would it have been better if we had started from Punakha, then Thimphu and then Paro in the end? Perhaps the travel journey duration could have been less. Nevertheless, we had a good time with the scenic views and though it was drizzling all the time, the weather did not dampen our trip. 3. Accommodation: were very good and we had no issues regarding our stay. The staff members were very polite and very helpful. They took good care to our needs and were always available. However, there is one suggestion. As we had a driver dedicated to us, we expect the Hotels/ resorts to provide or make temporary arrangements for the drivers. This request is primarily for two reasons: a. The Hotel/ resort was quite remote and far from the city and hence it is a long distance for the driver to travel back and forth and make alternate arrangements for himself in the city. At the Soenam Tsokhang resort it was quite difficult to accommodate, and we had to make the arrangements for the driver as the Management said it was not possible unless we paid separately. Let me emphasize that the driver did not insist this, and he had offered himself to make arrangement separately by himself. But we had insisted this. This was of course not an issue in the previous places where we stayed. b. Further, as we are with families and children, and the fact the resort was quite remote (not an issue with the location), if there were to be any emergency, medical or anything, having the driver in the same place where we were staying would help. By God’s grace, no such events occurred, but this is another reason we would like to have him. I hope you understand what we meant here. 4. Sightseeing: The sightseeing places were all great and we enjoyed every bit of it. The trek to Tiger’s nest took the whole day and we couldn’t explore much places in Paro. Perhaps another day would have sufficed. In some places like Simtokha Dzong, we were not able to have the guides as they were not available when we arrived. Under these circumstances, would it be possible for the drivers to double up as guide too? I am not sure if that would help not searching in guide. We also enjoyed the local restaurants Dorji took us to relish Bhutanese food (all types of Datshi, etc.) 5. Cash: We found that most of the resorts/ hotels preferred cash as they did not have card swiping devices. Hence it is recommended for all tourists to carry loads of cash and even if they had to draw Indian cash from the ATM, the preferred ATM would be the PNB bank who levied no service charges. It was also observed that people took all types of Indian denominations (500/2000 being no exception) Lastly, Thank you Mr. Yogi for all your services, initiatives and pro-activeness from the time we were planning this trip. I would definitely recommend Fox Travels for all my trips. Hope to interact with you again.

Our Bhutan trip went really well thanks to team Valley Tours And Treks. Prema who coordinated during the entire planning phase was very patient and helpful. I got my quotation changed many times and she got all the changes made in no time. The itinerary suggested was well thought and seems well researched. Our trip started with small glitch thanks to link failure at Bhutan immigration office but Ashish from Valley Tours And Treks was there with us all the time and he keeps on trying his level best. His help was much appreciated. Post that everything went well. Our driver was a Bhutanese guy and we really loved his company. In all hotels, our rooms with the extra bed were already ready before our arrival. Valley Tours And Treks kept in touch with me over WhatsApp. Everything went as planned. Bhutan is a lovely place to be. The most beautiful this about this place is People, one must try interacting with them. They are really sweet people and friendly people. The second thing is natural beauty. Most monuments are religious in nature and they keep getting monotonous after some time, So you can choose where all you want to go and where you want to skip. Remember at most places there are entry tickets and it starts from Rs 100 and goes as high as Rs 300 at some places. So keep cash in hand, cards are not accepted everywhere. The food is good. We being vegetarian had absolutely no issue as Indian food is part of every menu. One also must try ema datshi the national dish of Bhutan. It's quite spicy so you must mention to them to keep it less spicy. Do carry some warm clothes even in the summertime especially if you are traveling with kids. Always tip, if there is no service charge in the bill. And yed insist for Bhutanese guide cum driver, it makes lot of difference.
