      FAQs About Bhutan Tour Packages

      When to travel to Bhutan?

The best time to visit Bhutan is between September to November, when it is autumn as well as from March to May, when it is spring. These seasons present you pleasant weather and opportunities to enjoy festivals.

What types of food varieties are available in Bhutan?

Tourists can enjoy Indian, Chinese and common continental cuisines in Bhutan. Don’t forget to try the national food of Bhutan - ‘Emadatse’ spicy chilies mixed with cheese sauce. Bhutanese savor chilies as vegetables rather than spices. Red and white rice are the main meals with non-vegetarian dishes. For vegetarians, foods are also available according to the season.

What are some things to remember while going for the Tiger’s Nest Trek?

With the following pointers, travelers can make their trek to Tiger’s Nest a memorable affair

      • Visit it early morning: In the morning, several buses arrive at the Tiger’s Nest. To beat this rush and catch the captivating views, reach this place early.
      • Carry water and snacks: Carry water and snacks that keep you moving and you need not stop at the cafe located half-way up the trail. The cafe gets crowded and consumes much of your trekking time.
      • Enjoy the visual treat: Once you reach the top, drink in the spectacular views and capture them on your camera lens. Inside the monastery, you can’t click pictures

What about drinking water in Bhutan?

Mineral water is easily available everywhere in the country but check that the seal is not broken. Also, go for a trusted water brand and avoid tap water at all costs.

Tarali's 4 days trip to Bhutan

I recently booked a trip to Bhutan with Travel Triangle and was pleased with their overall services, from smooth bookings to helpful support. The first hotel was amazing, but I noticed a decline in quality with the second and third hotels, which was disappointing. Additionally, we missed several main tourist spots, which left me wondering if I missed out on some experiences. That being said, it was still a good trip, and I appreciated the hassle-free planning. The stunning, clean landscapes, the scenic drives, and the chance to try delicious local Bhutanese food were some of the best memories of the trip. Despite some setbacks, it was a memorable journey overall.

We had a wonderful experience. The overall trip was very good, and we were particularly impressed with the excellent service provided by our cab driver and guide. The hotels in Thimphu and Paro were of high quality and met our expectations. However, we must mention that the last day’s hotel in Phuentsholing was not up to the mark initially. Fortunately, your team was quick to address the issue and arranged for a better hotel, although there were some minor hiccups in the process. Despite this, the overall trip was enjoyable and well-organized. Thank you for your efforts in making our Bhutan journey memorable.

Overall experience of Bhutan as a place was awesome. Just a bit of spoiler from driver and agent. They used to get angry over whatever we say, driver was not even turning on the AC when at time it was too hot. He was very rude.

Trip to Bhutan is really awesome. Climate is really excellent and could even visit some places with snowfall. However, places like tiger's nest, punakha dzong charge a higher entry fees for the tourists. Therefore I do not recommend people to spend on a temple. Also whenever the places are given as part of itinerary, please give all kinds of places like temple, snowfall, adventurous activities, etc and not just temples. Buddha View Point, Drukyel Dzong and Chelela Pass.

Yanki resort was pathetic. Hotel has the most money minded manager. He is openly looting innocent tourists. Incident 1: We were back from tiger nest after a long day, I had caught cold and fever. We ordered a slice of bread. They served stale bread and charged us 100 INR. Incident 2: My friend’s room didn’t have the geyser working. After a long argument manager agreed to give my friend a different room to take bath. Remember Paro is very cold during October. Incident 3: They serve breakfast from 7-9am. We went down for a cup of coffee at 6:45am and he charged us 75/- for a cup of coffee. I know this wasn’t my mistake but he should have atleast told us that it costs. I didn’t expect they will charge me for such a whisker gap. All in all I suggest people to STRONGLY REFRAIN from going to this hotel.

We had a great and memorable trip to Bhutan through Rimso Travels. Very hospitable, so much effort was put to solve even minute hiccups faced. Customer oriented and good planning. We really enjoyed the trip from the moment we reached Bhutan, not having to worry about anything at all. Special mention to Gauri who assisted us throughout, our friendly guide Kezang and driver Yugin. Chelela Pass, temperature was around -1, we could see water flowing down frozen to ice. Really enjoyed the rafting, the boat song and the chilled water. The view of Paro valley from National Museum in the evening hours
