With the following pointers, travelers can make their trek to Tiger’s Nest a memorable affair
- Visit it early morning: In the morning, several buses arrive at the Tiger’s Nest. To beat this rush and catch the captivating views, reach this place early.
- Carry water and snacks: Carry water and snacks that keep you moving and you need not stop at the cafe located half-way up the trail. The cafe gets crowded and consumes much of your trekking time.
- Enjoy the visual treat: Once you reach the top, drink in the spectacular views and capture them on your camera lens. Inside the monastery, you can’t click pictures
Tourists can enjoy Indian, Chinese and common continental cuisines in Bhutan. Don’t forget to try the national food of Bhutan - ‘Emadatse’ spicy chilies mixed with a cheese sauce. Bhutanese savor chilies as vegetables rather than spices. Red and white rice are the main meals with non-vegetarian dishes. For vegetarians, foods are also available according to the season.
The best time to visit Bhutan is between September to November, when it is autumn as well as from March to May, when it is spring. These seasons present you pleasant weather and opportunities to enjoy festivals.

Trip to BhutanValley Tours has planned the tour well. From starting in phone Suku madam has understood the needs well and designed package as discussed. At Pheuntsholing , Ashish assisted us well for visa immigration and then after we went for Thimphu and Paro . Vehicle was Toyota Avance which was arranged against Creta/Innova Driver Mr Wangchuk is very humble and good person very polite feel good with him. He is not a professional guide but being a local he has good knowledge of area and is a gem of a person. Hotel Thimphu best Paro Good (Power cut for a Hour) Pheuntsholing okay Valley was readily available for any issues in the trip and are friendly. Bhutanese Charge for drinking water everywhere even in hotels. Plan easy don't try covering too much.
Trip to BhutanOverall a great trip and nice stay at different hotels.Good driver lal bahadur and nice trip co-ordination by Hari of Bhutan Inc. Taken care well and very professional travel agents.Loved the trip.
Trip to BhutanThis was a wonderful trip, very well managed start to end. Total hassal free. Very professional, every thing was completed as committed! I am extremely happy. The hotels were good, the vehicle provided was in very good condition, our driver Sanga was superb, he was very knowledgeable and helpful!
Trip to BhutanJourney was nice. Guide and driver were very nice. Visiting punakha dzong, tiger nest, chele la pass, suspension bridge. View from Thimpu hotel room
Trip to BhutanIt was wonderful experience booking through Travel Triangle for Bhutan. Hassle free travel and stay. Superb Service
Trip to BhutanWhile we were choosing agent. there was some doubt in air while looking at some of older reviews. Though we initiated the process, the best part we like about is responsiveness, flexibility, listening ability and quick turnaround as major plus of Mr. Damber Gurung. It was 12 nights 13 days trip(18-30th March, 2019). The whole itinerary was as per us, how we wanted; with each and every thing well defined. we are kind of people who define what we want to do and choose on basis who can fulfill the requirement best. Now starting with trip all tickets, cab and hotel booking were done well in advance in our choice of hotels; also all vouchers shared as per agreed timeline. Now coming to parts of the tour. Hotels, all were amazing (Tashi Nagmey(Paro), Ramada Valley(Thimphu), Drubchu resort(Punakha), Hotel Dewachen(Phubjika), Bumthang(Jakar Village lodge)) we got complimentary upgrade in Paro and Thimphu. Cab, we got SUV, with an amazing driver and gem of person Mr. Gyadhen Jamtsho, a clear hearted man who try to ensure that you are happy. Now some parts where traveler needs to take a lead like please check the timings of all dzongs & Lakhangs. Also check on what attire needs to worn. Kindly note that if you are travelling ahead of Thimphu towards Punakha, Phobjika and Bhumthang, road permit to be taken from Thimphu. Better you can visit with driver so that correct information can be given in one go. There is one caution that in some of lakhang and dzongs they will ask specifically for guide, though Indian's don't need to have a guide as a necessity. In this please ask your driver to keep their traditional dress with him and should accompany you to avoid these kind of situations, as in that case they generally don't ask much. Tip: On standard itinerary please check what all places you want to visit and timings. Also check what places are good to eat, as you can eat in evening outside and come to hotel later. In Tashi Namgey: Take rooms on 1st floor like 117, also hotel got a good massage center. Ramada Valley: Take rooms having river view.
Trip to BhutanThe people were very good, the Hotel in Thimpu was not good, of course it was my selection.
Trip to BhutanVery nice services provided by the travel agent. Hotel, driver and itinerary were fantastic. Loved the trip.
Trip to BhutanSuper thanks for Bhutan INC. I had made quite a few alterations before and during the trip. We were in excellent hands of Guide Kharka and driver Akash. Kharka accompanied us everywhere and explained in great detail about the rich cultural heritage. He was sought after even by outside groups whose guides were no able to respond to some questions. Bhutan needs a guided tour. I high;y recommend Bhutan INC
Trip to BhutanThis team is just an aggregation site, travel triangle does not connect with the customer in any part of the process which makes it clear that they are not responsible for anything.
Trip to BhutanSky lark taken care every thing from planning to execution of trip. Special thanks to her. Food in the hotels are abit limited which should be improved. Hotels in thimpu and Paro are good.
Trip to BhutanOur driver Bikas had been truly superb throughout our visit. He guided us and took great care of us during and post-travel hours. We stayed at some of the excellent hotels that we could get. Thimphu - Peaceful resort (The snowfall a day before just made our day) Paro- Kuenphen resort Phuteshilong - Hotel Park (Not as great as the other two).
Trip to BhutanBhutan is a wonderful place. Full of nature, mountains, peace, pleasent weather. We visited Thimpu, Paro, Punakha and Phobhjika. Hotels at Punakha (Damchen Resort), Paro(Khamsum) were really good. Phuenthsolling(hotel Park was okay) and at Thimpu(Khamsum in) and Phobhjika (Wangchuk Lodge) were below average. Nothing much can be expected for hotels in Phobhjika since its a remote place. Driver provided(Wangchuk) was a great person, he helped us throughout the trip and the hospitality from him was really good. Services from KNG are good. They customized the trip according to our preference. All the arrangements by KNG were good except one. They didn't book hotel at Punakha and when we reached there we didn't have any booking. Thanks to the hotel they could give us a room which was their last available room. This is a basic expectations from a travel agent. Little checks on hotel booking must be done before the trip starts. Taking care of this basic thing would help. Buddha statue, Thimpu Punakha dzong and National suspension bridge. Dressing up in Bhutan costume at Paro.
Trip to BhutanOn the whole very good experience. But hotel park was big disappointment for all the guests. They didn’t live up to the expectations like other 2 hotels Thimphu and Paro.
Trip to BhutanDefinitely one of the best experience overall from the beginning of booking the trip, tickets, hotel arrangement, local sightseeing and driver. Would like to thanks Ranjeetha for her passionately helping and following up with the end to end arrangements. Our driver Ranjan in Paro was so humble, polite and warmth. Trying the local cuisines, tiger nest trekking and rafting
