• Kanchendzonga National Park: Kanchendzonga National Park is spread across 1784 sq. km and is listed in UNESCO Heritage Site list in North East India. How to Reach Gangtok

Gangtok can be reached from nearest train station in New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. The city is accessible through air also from most major cities of India. • By Air: Bagdogra Airport (IXB) near Siliguri which provides with various taxis or buses to reach the destination. It is directly connected to Delhi and Kolkata airport via nonstop flights. The roads are well maintained with breathtaking views all around exept in monsoon season when landslide disrupts the communication system. • By Rail: Located 120 kilometres away from the city, New Jalpaiguri is the main railway station serving Gangtok. A number of trains run between major cities and this station. Many cities are connected to this station including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kochi. From here various cabs and buses are available to reach Gangtok.
