Namratha's 5 days trip to Cambodia

Recently I travelled to Cambodia with my family of 4. The overall experience was excellent. The booking agent (Rossie) was Asia Authentic Travel (AAT) placed in Vietnam. However the billing and financials were handled by TravelTriangle (seems like coordinated from India). This is just information for other travellers and did not impact any of the booking or travel agenda. This is just for information. Pre-trip booking: The coordination and response was excellent by AAT. They provided quick response to selection of hotels, planning of the trip., arranging for vegetarian food (all of us are vegetarians). The agent clearly communicated with us on WhatsApp and was extremely responsive, even when it was late night in Vietnam. Thank you Rossie. Payment: It appears that we had to pay the amount in two installments. There were initial challenges. Somehow, payment using a foreign credit card has a few challenges. However, somehow coordinating with AAT (Vietnam) and Travel Triangle it was sorted out. One word of caution, the number of emails that I receive about payment in spite of making arrangement seems quite annoying and I had to verify to ignore these emails. This is especially critical as I don't want to miss a payment and the trip to be cancelled. Secondly, we are all American Citizens, however, it was asking from Indian Pan card to make payment. This did not make sense as foreigners does not know anything about this. However, this was sorted out as well. These are minor and did not impact the trip. Arrival and Trip: The experience was excellent. The driver was on time at the airport. The Vietnam based agent repeatedly checked and confirmed flight arrival time and ensured that the driver was there on time and confirmed on the day of arrival. The tour guide was excellent, patient and very accommodating. Due to last minute closures of some attractions, we had to change the schedule a bit and the agent was very willing to accommodate minor changes. Hotel (Tara Angkor Hotels, Siem Reap) The hotel was good from a cleanliness. Staff were very polite and helpful. The only challenge was internet speed. This was very challenging as signal strength was good only close to the access points and we were further away from the access points and it was dropping several times. We had to ask for a change of room. The breakfast buffet was good (limited choice for vegetarians, but not bad). On the whole the trip was EXCELLENT and I will definitely recommend AAT (Rossie)/TravelTriangle (Chetna Sharma).

LVP did a fantastic job of arranging a very memorable customised trip. The food was excellent both at Halong Bay & Siem Reap as well as the guides during the various trips. Have already recommended to my other friends.

We had an amazing vacation in Cambodia and grateful to SOKHORTEY Travel & Tours for the same. Their responsiveness to queries was very prompt. Right from the time of arrival to departure the experience was amazing. Our guide Mr. Ra was very friendly and knowledgeable. He ensured we get the best experience. Accommodation and travel were also great. We had a 4-day itinerary and it was good enough to explore major attractions in Siem Reap. Cambodia is definitely a great destination and looking forward to future trips.

LVP Travel is extremely professional and were able to arrange a great tour for us in Cambodia. They were always available on WhatsApp and answered all my queries before I was able to make a decision to book. I will give them a 10/10 on their service. Here are a few things that I would like LVP to improve : 1. Cambodia itinerary: Please have a Cambodian travel guide chart out the itinerary. On day one we were told that the itinerary that was agreed upon will not be possible in one day and we had to truncate the number of places which we could visit. The second day was relatively free. I would have appreciated more insight into what we can visit within our limited time and if we are visiting the best places. 2. Your price is high. I booked two separate tickets with LVP and would have expected a discount on the price. Once I reached Siem Reap I realized that I may have paid too much for two days worth of travel. Nevertheless we had an amazing time in Siem Reap and without LVP we could not have imagined traveling to Cambodia. I shall definitely recommend LVP and Ms. Thuy to my friends and family for Cambodia. Regarding Travel Triangle - I will give them a 4/10 on our Cambodia Package. The representative Dimple Ranaut is extremely unprofessional and discourteous. Without LVP Travel's constant communication, I shall never have booked this tour with Travel Triangle. This representative called at odd times on whatsapp, threatened that the price will go up if I did not pay before a certain date, did not respond go to my queries. When I asked to speak to a senior agent at Travel Triangle, she put her colleague on the line, who was equally incompetent. I am baffled that a company would treat a customer who gave them a business of more that $2000 this way. A word of advice - other than matching customers to agents, travel triangle must also ensure the customer is getting a good value for their money. In my case, the agent refused to even talk about the price with the agent. During the same time I booked a Nepal tour with another agent of travel triangle and he did his best to negotiate with the agent and get me the best price.
