A Splendid Himachal Getaway for Couples (3N/4D): Overview
Rated 4.1 out of 5 by travellers across our Himachal honeymoons. Every itinerary here is built with a verified local agent, not a call-centre script, and every day is customisable. From Rs 8,000 per person on twin sharing.
This 3 nights 4 days Manali honeymoon is built for couples who want the Himalayas without a tiring, town-a-day circuit. You stay put in Manali for all three nights, so there is no packing and re-packing every morning. The days cover the honeymoon beats couples actually ask for: the wooden Hadimba Devi Temple in its cedar forest, an evening stroll down Mall Road, a snow run up to Rohtang Pass or Solang Valley, and the option of a candlelight dinner to close the day. It is a clean, Manali-pure romance rather than a diluted Shimla-plus-Manali dash.

Your day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Manali, Hadimba Temple and a Mall Road evening
Most couples reach Manali on an overnight Volvo from Delhi (about 536 km, 12 to 14 hours), so Day 1 opens with a check-in and a slow morning. Once you have settled in, the afternoon is classic Manali. You visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, a 16th-century wooden shrine set among tall deodar cedars, then the Club House by the Manalsu stream for roller-skating and a coffee, the small Tibetan monastery nearby, and Van Vihar, a quiet riverside pine park that is easy to walk hand in hand. Wind down at the Vashisht hot springs, where the natural sulphur water is said to soothe tired legs. Keep the evening free for Mall Road, a short lamp-lit stretch of cafes, woollens shops and bakeries, and the spot to arrange a candlelight dinner to close the first day. One practical note: cover your legs and shoulders when you enter the temples.
Day 2: Snow day at Rohtang Pass or Solang Valley
After breakfast you head up the valley for the day couples remember most. In the warmer months the drive climbs to Rohtang Pass at 3,980 metres, a high saddle ringed by snow-clad peaks, with pony rides, yak rides, skiing and snow-scooter runs on the slopes. Rohtang needs a permit and stays closed on Tuesdays, so the day is planned around that. When Rohtang is shut for snow or maintenance, which is common between November and May, the trip runs instead through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu and Solang Valley, where the snow play is just as good and the road stays open. Solang Valley is the marquee stop either way, and it is where most couples take their first tandem paraglide over the meadow. You return to the hotel for dinner and the night in Manali.
Day 3: Kullu, Manikaran and the green Parvati valley
Day 3 trades the high snow for the green Parvati valley. A private cab takes you to Kullu and on to Manikaran, stopping at the Mahadevi Tirth temple (also called Vaishno Devi), a Kullu shawl workshop where the local weaves are made, and the viewpoints over Kasol and the fast Parvati river. At Manikaran you visit the Gurudwara and its famous hot springs, where the water runs hot enough to cook the langar rice. It is an easy, unhurried day. You are back in Manali by evening for dinner and your last night.
Day 4: A slow morning, then departure
After a final breakfast there is time to pack slowly and pick up any last woollens or souvenirs from the cafes of Old Manali before you board the return Volvo or deluxe coach to Delhi. If your bus is an evening one, ask the desk to hold a late check-out so you are not left waiting around with your bags.

Honeymoon touches, on request. Most couples ask us to add a candlelight dinner, a room decorated with flowers, a honeymoon cake or a fresh-fruit basket for the first night. Tell your agent when you book and it goes straight into your quote.
Cancellation and refund policy
Because each trip is quoted and customised with the hotels and transport partners, cancellation charges depend on how close to travel you cancel and on what the hotels and cab operators have already confirmed for your dates. There is no single flat fee. Before you pay, ask your TravelTriangle agent to put the exact cancellation slab in writing on your final itinerary, so you know the deadline for a full or a partial refund. Every booking is covered by the TravelTriangle Money Safe Guarantee, and you can pay in instalments.
Why couples book this trip with TravelTriangle
The fares and inclusions on this page are checked by our Himachal desk against the current operator rates before we quote you, so the number you see is the number you plan around. You deal with one verified local agent who knows the valley, reshapes any day you want, and stays reachable through the trip. "Start the Rohtang drive early. On the Tuesday-open days the queue at the permit barrier is long by late morning," is the kind of ground-level tip our Himachal trip desk builds into your plan. That is the difference between a package printed off a template and a honeymoon put together by people who have stood at that barrier.
