Wonderful experience over all. Few suggestions: 1. Must mention hotel room category in the voucher. The hotel people asked for it at the time of check in. 2. Cab driver was a bit manipulative. 3. Shikara ride should be atleast 2 hrs and ideally 3 hrs if you are giving it complimentary. You can include it in the estimate - no one will mind but telling the tourist on the spot that it is just 1hr and in 1 hr u can't see the main attractions doesn't feel good. Hope these small suggestions help you.

We had a good trip, travel agent was prompt and checked on us every day. Hotel Milan, Srinagar - very bad service and rude staff. They were not equipped to handle the holiday rush. Hotel Rosewood, Gulmarg - comfortable stay. Being a vegetarian, I found pieces of bone in the vegetable I had ordered. The staff in the restaurant didn't care. Hotel Hermitage, Pehalgam - comfortable stay, polite staff, good food.

Trip cost was too high considering hot weather and amarnath yatra. Everyone wants money, that's it!! They promise to help but when real problem is encountered, there is only rude reply. Driver Firdos kept lying about few things. His comfort was more important for him.. When i raised this concern with the agent there was no reponse or a promise to rectify it so i am writing this.

For us, We booked Fortune Resort by ITC & Mascot Houseboats in Srinagar and both were luxury epitomised. Even the above said places were available during the dates, they went from pillar to post to make sure we got the places we wanted. In the end, we GOT A CAKE with Happy Honeymoon written on it. First of all a big shoutout to our tour manager from One world tour and travels, Mr.Muneeb for making this kashmir trip a memorable and joyful one. He was very helpful and quickly responded to all our needs and queries and solved all our problems during the entire trip. A special mention to an instance, when Mr.Muneeb arranged for some medicines urgently during late night hours for my 4 years old son as he fell ill during the trip, when the hotel staff denied to arrange for the same...as it was independence day and all the market and chemist shops nearby were closed. I can never forget this help and such empathetic behaviour he showed. Our driver was also good, gave us all the required information and helped us explore local tourist spots nicely. It was overall a wonderful experience, looking forwrd to travel again in near future with you guys, good luck !
