5-Day Kerala Tour: Munnar, Thekkady & Houseboat Delight 5 Days & 4 Nights

When you reach Cochin, our driver will welcome you and take you on a 130 km drive to Munnar (about 3.5 hours). On the way, you will see small waterfalls, green tea gardens, and forests. Stop to see the beautiful Cheeyapara and Valara Waterfalls before reaching your hotel in Munnar for the night.

Start your day with a good breakfast and get ready to see Munnar’s beauty. Visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a boat ride at Kundala Lake. Walk through green tea gardens and enjoy the views at Echo Point. In the afternoon, go to Eravikulam National Park to see the rare Nilgiri Tahr. In the evening, return to your hotel and rest for the night.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady (about 4 hours). On the way, stop at Gap Road Viewpoint and Periyakanal Waterfalls. In Thekkady, visit a spice farm to see tea, coffee, and cardamom plants. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may see elephants and deer. In the evening, watch cultural shows or shop for spices. Stay overnight in Thekkady.

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (about 5 hours). At noon, check into your houseboat. Enjoy a peaceful cruise through the backwaters, seeing villages and green fields. Have tasty meals on board and relax on the deck. Stay overnight on the houseboat.

After breakfast on the houseboat, drive to Cochin (about 2 hours). Check into your hotel and visit Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, and the Chinese fishing nets. Walk along Jew’s Street and shop at LuLu Mall. Later, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station.
