After breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off on a scenic drive to Thekkady, which takes approximately four hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and prepare for an exciting day of exploration at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a famous reserve that became a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, with the opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Delve into the rich aromas of Thekkady's spice plantations and experience traditional Kerala culture with an optional Kathakali dance performance or a Kalaripayattu martial arts show. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Thekkady.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey, also called the ‘Venice of the East’. By noon, board your private houseboat and start a cruise through the calm backwaters and green paddy fields. Enjoy tasty Kerala food made on board and relax as you watch village life. In the evening, have a candlelight dinner under the stars. Stay overnight on the houseboat.
