5-Day Kerala Tour: Munnar, Thekkady, and Alleppey 5 Days & 4 Nights

When you arrive at Cochin Airport, our representative will greet you and take you on a scenic drive to Munnar. On the way, stop to see the lovely Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls, as well as the green tea plantations that make this region so special. After reaching Munnar, check in at your hotel and rest for a while. In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai National Park, which is home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr. Later, explore Munnar town and enjoy the view of hills covered with tea estates. Spend the night at your hotel in Munnar.

Start your day with a wholesome breakfast before exploring the attractions of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, where you may spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr. Next, head to Mattupetty Dam for some boating, and visit a nearby dairy farm and tea factory to learn about local farming. Other places to see include the peaceful Kundala Dam, Old Munnar, Eco Point, the Rose Garden, and Photo Point. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying Munnar's beautiful scenery before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Thekkady, famous for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, monkeys, deer, and many species of birds. You can choose to take a boat ride on Periyar Lake, visit a spice plantation, or enjoy an elephant ride (extra charges apply). Explore local tribal villages, or try adventure activities such as bamboo rafting and trekking. In the evening, watch traditional cultural performances like Kathakali. Stay overnight in Thekkady.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel to Alleppey, often known as the 'Venice of the East'. Upon arrival, board your private houseboat and begin a cruise through the calm backwaters. Glide past green paddy fields, narrow canals, and small villages. Experience the peaceful atmosphere and traditional way of life along the backwaters. Enjoy a candlelit dinner on board and spend the night on the houseboat.

After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Cochin for a day of sightseeing. Explore historical landmarks such as Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church, and the famous Chinese Fishing Nets. Visit the Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace, and enjoy some shopping at Lulu Mall. If time permits, take a leisurely stroll along Marine Drive or visit Cherai Beach. In the evening, our representative will take you to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, leaving you with wonderful memories of your Kerala trip.
