We enjoyed our trip with Guruji though there were some communication barrier with our cap driver who can not speak English but things could be eventually solved out. We have faced unexpected problems during our visit to Manali; one member lost her purse and passport and the other got a stray dog bite while walking in downtown. But with our skilled and supportive driver despite limited English, my friend's passport could be located and eventually being picked up on the way of our next destination to Amritsar, thanks god. The member who got dog bite could reach to the public hospital in Manali for treatment. So thank you to Mr. Mukthiar, the driver, for the good job. I also like to thank you Avinash and Rehka for their support and fast responsive to our questions and needs from the beginning through our itinerary. I will definitely come back and choose Guruji Travels for our next trip.

Hotel and cab and driver was very good.. no double about it. But travel agent was not aware about local news. Faced issue during our return journey at Sindhu border our vehicle was not allowed in Delhi have to changed vehicle.

Travel agent is careless we book the hotel for 3 night and at last night he change our hotel so it’s is difficult to shift from one hotel to other same thing he do in Shimla. Rafting , and sightseeing are awesome It is recommended to search for pricing of adventures activity before visit

So we were looking for a good package for a vacation to Himachal. Of the various quotes offered, we chose the services offered by Travel Vichar. After a lot of discussion and negotiation, we chose three resorts and destinations - Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala. The vacation started off well. The cab driver, Kushal, was courteous, polite and helpful. As we had a senior citizen with us, he made sure that she was comfortable. Our stays at Shimla and Manali were great (in fact, the hotel chosen for Shimla - Grand Welcome - was a last minute choice as everything else was booked and we didn't get anytime to research it. But looking back, this hotel gave us the best experience. Ashapuri at Manali was a good hotel but the architecture was inconvenient for us. Our main issue happened at Dharamshala. The hotel that we booked - Quartz Himalayan Brothers - had very shady vibes - didn't seem like a place where a family would choose to stay. The menu was limited as there was no kitchen in the hotel. They were sourcing the food from elsewhere. Food taste was so-so and we aren't quite sure of the quality as later my son had an upset tummy. We had time and again emphasized to Travel Vichar that we have a senior citizen with us. Yet the hotel refused to give a proper hotel room - saying that "You didn't specify that you wanted mountain view". When we contacted Travel Triangle/Travel Vichar, they said that this is general level of hotels in Dharamshala. To this we say, that the travel agent should have warned us that compared to Shimla and Manali, hotels in Dharamshala is not that great. We should have been offered another alternative or we would have extended our stay in Shimla Manali or whatever. The travel agent didn't even bother to check in with us, despite knowing that we were not comfortable there. In fact, they - the manager - spoke rudely with us, adding insult to injury. What also happened was that Unfortunately, we had a situation late at night - my son had an upset tummy - for which we called the reception. But nobody received the phone, as everybody was asleep. We had to deal with the situation ourselves. Our advice to anyone planning a trip to Himachal is try to avoid Travel Vichar. But this bad experience of the hotel should not take away from the beauty of the place. Dharamshala is a serene place with great views - with a generous scoop of spirituality. Just don't book a hotel through Travel Vichar. Snowfall at Manali - it was an unexpected and memorable. Zip lining and yak rides. White Water rafting at Kullu in the playful Beas river. Snowcapped mountains at Manali and roaring and rippling of the Beas River through Manali. Horse riding at Shimla

Not really happy with the way travel talkies handling the customer and agency, poor response after confirming the package. Mainly missing the coordination between client and agency.

Itinerary could have been better. Hotel locations at Shimla & Manali did not meet expectations. Hotel & services at Manali were substandard, the requirement was for 3 star deluxe / 4 star, whereas accomodation was provided at a sub standard hotel. Cab driver was very good and cooperative.

tour is well coordinated by the agent and agent has communicated with me regularly for any issues and clarifications and she is very approachable. only thing that made me unhappy is that they have wasted my day by giving a wrong distance to the driver for some place and driver denied me taking there and they give me some other place which is not even worst visiting. except for that day all the tour is very good and I enjoyed and I thank the agent for planning this well.

I had a great experience in this trip of himachal. The cab driver daljit singh was very helpful, co-operative, very humble and good human being. He encouraged me in paragliding. Above all it was a wonderful trip. Hotels were good. In rohotang pass in manali, while horse riding in naldehera, while rafting in kullu and enjoying in khajjiar of dalhousie.

Among the whole trip, the cab experience could have been better. The driver was fine, but was not very cooperative and was insisting on what he feels the best. He did not switched on AC when it was required after repeated request. He did guide us well for the places to be visited however, was not transparent interms of the extra charges. The driver should consult with the customers before taking the customers to any other agent for further activities and should also be clearing the pros and cons. He also always pushed us to start very early around 7 AM everyday wherever we wanted to go. His assumption was that, if we start late after 7, we would get stuck in traffic. And this was not the case, we did not get stuck in any traffic during our whole tour. I think the agent should clearly specify these timing beforehand. To just visit 20 KM beyond solang valley I was charged 2500 rupees which seems too high given it was just 30 min journey one way. Visiting Sissu lake.

I had booked Shimla - Manaali six days tour with North India Tours & Travels. From the starting there were trouble with agency. I was asked to contact Mr. Neeraj Negi for driver details. I had followed him four times over phone but he didn't provide the proper details. I got three drivers number and had to call all of them to know who will pick me up from Chandigarh. Once driver was fixed, he asked me to leave from Chandigarh early (though I didn't want it) in the morning because he was in Chandigarh that evening and he wanted to return early. when I called Neeraj Negi to know if Hotel room will be available if I reach early, he was blunt and said will you check out early if you are checking in early. Taxi and hotel coordination was his job but I was doing it and he was playing boss role. while travelling to Shimla, taxi driver (Prakash) informed me that he is not from North India tour travel. Taxi driver on day one left without informing. raised the issue on Travel triangle whatsapp group but no help was offer either by travel triangle or Neeraj Negi. During the travel, I had four different drivers (Prakash, Sanjay, Ajay, Raju) and on each day I had to coordinate with these drivers. No professionalism at all. Although, I was informed that I will have single driver through out the tour. while returning from Manaali around 1 PM during the day we were passing through planes (Sundar Nagar, Bilaspur etc) and temperature was 37 deg C and dust outside. requested driver to switch on the AC but he hadn't. this is despite the fact that we were descending from hills or travelling in plane areas. This driver (Ajay) had to pick client from Chandigarh therefore he had asked us to start early from Manaali, which I agreed to. I had to skip the breakfast because of him but when we requested him to switch on the AC, he straight forward denied it. No support from North India tour travel . Only good thing in this trip was hotel in Manaali (Himalayan heights), which is newly built and well maintained. view from this hotel is quite good and it has apple orchard within it's boundary.
