I would like to start on a positive note , we did enjoy the trip and the best part of the trip was the desert camp at jaisalmer. I would agree that all the hotel rooms were neat and comfortable with our stay. On the other hand, we wasted time at Jaipur and the sightseeing at Jaipur recommended was
worthless as all the 3 places were just ok roadside and could be covered easily in roughly one hour . The tripadvisor did not recommend that we visit amer fort which was worth place to visit at Jaipur . Moreover the cab drivers had some tieups with local shopkeepers at Jaipur and misguided is to shop first which took most of our time and they were really reluctant to get us to do sight seeing . In fact they took commission even at the restaurants. We could cover udaipur in half a days time and frankly there was nothing much to do there and it was just a city with a lake and not recommended at all not worth the 12 hours of travel from jaisalmer. The desert camp at jaisalmer was the best highlight of the trip and our families had a good time and taste of Rajasthan

Travelled to Jaipur on 5 Mar, 2019 with 1 other for 6 days

Jbalagtas's 6 days trip to Rajasthan

We didn't like our driver. He's needed underarm deodorant. We didn't ask he's religion, but it looked like he didn't like Hindus. When we were supposed to visit a Hindu temple, he just parked on the side of a highway so we could take pictures from far away. Our tour of Delhi was OK, but when we got
to Agra to visit Taj Mahal, he told us that we needed a guide and it would be the same when we go to Amer Fort. He told us that the guide's services will be a minimum of 1000 rupees for the two of us. Even though it was not in our itinerary and even though we don't like guides, we just agreed to have one. He insisted that we needed one. We picked him up from the street while we were driving, which were thought was weird. He looked like a guide - dressed nice with a name tag, but we had to pay for his entrance fee. When we got inside Taj Mahal, he started to convince us to hire a photographer which went on for about five minutes. We didn't hire one. Only once he offered to take our picture. When I interrupted his story to ask questions, he told me to wait until later and my questions will be answered when he tells the rest of the story which was much much later. He was emphasizing more on what kind of rocks the buildings were made of and how the decorations on were made. We knew that he was trying to sell us something, and we were right. When we finished the tour, he said that we needed to ride a tuktuk to meet our driver because we were far from the parking lot. He made me pay for the tuktuk. Then he and the driver took us to two places where they sell the things that he emphasized from the tour. The next day when we got to Fatephur Sikri, the driver was telling us that the parking lot is far away from the entrance and we had to take a tuktuk which will cost us about 100 to120 rupees. It is true that the entrance is far, but the designated bus that takes the people to and from the entrance only cost 10 rupees each way - we found this out later. Our driver stopped the car and talked to a tuktuk driver and told us that the tuktuk driver will take us to the entrance. He didn't take us to the entrance. He called a teenage boy and told us that the boy is his brother and would take us to the entrance, but he will not ask for money. It was a long and tiring walk up a hill. When we got up to the top, he called another teenage boy which is also his brother. This other boy said that he is a student and a volunteer guide and he will not ask for money. He said that we would start from the back and pay the entrance fee after we finish the tour. He was talking us away from the attraction which made us feel uneasy. I told him that we wanted to pay right away and go through the front entrance. When we got to the entrance, there was nowhere to pay. We went in after talking our shoes off, but we kept our shoes with us. We didn't know what to do when we got inside the building. I read that we were supposed to pay 500 rupees, but the place didn't look that big. Luckily we met three European tourist that had a map of the place and told us where we were supposed to pay. I told our volunteer guide to help someone else and that we don't need him then he asked me to pay him. I didn't. We got out of the building which we found out was a mosque and walked a block to the real entrance. This attraction is worth the entrance fee. When we finished, I asked how to get to the parking lot. I was told to to bus for 10 rupees. When we got to the parking lot, we had to search for our driver. When we found him, he said that he was worried because we took too long. We didn't trust him anymore. When he dropped us off at our hotel in Jaipur, I told him that we don't want anymore guides. He was disappointed and insisted that Amer Fort is a very important place and we need a guide. We told him that we don't like guides. The next day before the tour, he told us that he would pay for the guide. We told him that we don't like guides to tell us what to do and where to go and we don't need them. We enjoyed the rest of the tour. Royal View hotel where we stayed in was very nice with a great view on the roof.

It is my last minute planning to travel to Rajastan with family (Wife, One kid and Mother). Tourpedia made my trip memorable. It is great service offered by them from landing to the airport and returning back to Jaipur. I had habit of booking my own hotels and plan the local conveyance within city o
r inter-city. I had actually taken right decision to move to tourpedia package for Rajastan trip. It made my life easy. It would have been in very very difficult for me travel jaipur to Bikaner to Jaisalmer to Sand dunes desert to Jodhpur and Jaipur. I would have spent more money on this trip if i had not booked tour pedia package. Over tour-pedia has provided quality services. One of the 5 hotels was not good. Particular hotel took lot of time for serving the break fast. Apart from it service is very good. Driver was very old, polite and experienced. Some times driver was getting irritated easily. I have just ignored it he is like old person and common behavior. I treated him like my family member. So there is no problem. I suggest everyone who wants to go on trip to Rajastan must consider tourpedia.

Chaitra's 5 days trip to Rajasthan

Everything was nice. The hotels were decent and driver was having a good behaviour towards us. The hotel issue happened was with the hotel that was provided to us in Jaipur and later driver took us to wrong camp in Jaisalmer. All these things have been resolved by the agent on the trip itself. So, q
uite happy with the service. Only that if these minor issues would not been happened that this would have been an amazing trip of ours.

Travelled to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Jaisalmer, Sam, Udaipur on 2 Feb, 2019 with 2 others for 7 days
