Smarajit's 7 days trip to Ladakh

Awesome experience. I had booked a 7 night tour with Amazing India for Leh/Ladakh. The bookings went seamlessly and hotel provided were pretty good. The Car provided was a relatively new innova so it was better than decent. Would like to highlight here that during my stay in Leh there was an emergency where the return flight was on the verge of cancellation. The travel Agent Annu called from her side and offered to book hotels etc in case the return flight was cancelled. This was a very warm gesture in the face of uncertainty.

I had to cancel my trip in just 2 days after I reached Leh as I was unwell due to low Oxygen levels. I had made full payment before starting my trip and stayed in hotel for just 2 days and didn’t go for any sight seeing but still I was charged for 70% of the whole amount and just got the refund for 30% which is unfair. I would urge Travel triangle to look into this on priority and be fair with me. This was not a good experience at all due to the amount which I had to bear due to cancellation.

The whole trip was worth it, and all things worked out pretty well. All hotels / stay and food were good... Especially Leh Hotel - Hotel Utpala Retreat was excellent and impressive. The rooms are spacious and very clean. All staff is so nice and has great service mind, food was delicious... Vehicle and driver both were excellent. He has very good driving skills in hilly areas and snow covered roads. He helps in every manner possible during the entire trip. Rinki and Lazyatra team arranged the entire trip very well, and it was a well planned trip. They were constantly in touch. Rinki was always available online for any help. Great

Over all Trip was very well planned. There is no negative point to mention. Remark: Cost of Package was bit over. Rs. 55950 could have been reasonable instead of Rs. 66000. You can figure it out once you reach there. We will keep in mind next time choosing your agency. It was altogether different world. You can't put in words.

The package offered was little costly. We had great time at kangsing hotel in ladakh. Great hospitality provided by them. Camps at pangong and nubra were ok. Food was not good in pangong camp. We were not aware that lights are their at nubra and pangong camp from evening 6 pm to 11 pm only. This our travel agent should have informed us before only. We were only told connectivity will not be their and no tv. At pangong every thing was self service we found it difficult as it was snow fall their. To take water, or even ask something we have to get out of the room in snow late night and ask them to provide food, water etc. There were no phones service also at both camp. Only stay and that too night you have to spend without light. Our last two days hotel was at leh the second hotel provided was on as there was no phone service on rooms that too hotel was in leh. We use to call him on mobile for any services. Rest their hospitality was good. Food was good. Best time was to see khardungla pass , changla pass and pangong lake blue water. The driver was very good and knowledgeable. Cooperative. Our trip gone well during travelling. Rest all are aware lehnladakh is awesome place to visit. We enjoyed our journey alot.

LehLadakh journey helped us a lot in curating the itinerary based on our preferences. Be it a choice of hotels, cabs and places of interest, they were very open to hear us out from the beginning and prepared a best itinerary considering all the safety/tiredness aspects related to the journey. They were very helpful in providing all possible tips to be taken care of in our journey to Leh-Ladakh. We had a very pleasant stay at four places : 2 days in Hotel Kaal in Leh, 1 Day Tent stay in Cozy Ethnic Camp in Nubra Valley, 1 Day in Lakeview Cottage near Pangong Lake and 2 days in Hotel Dragon in Leh Market. They arranged an Innova with a driver(Name: Jigmet) who was our travel guide throughout the journey. We never had to think about the places as all schedules were closely monitored on the daily basis. Mr Susanth from LehLadakh/Visit India also paid us a visit in the hotel at the beginning and end of the journey. In this 6 day trip, we covered many places like Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Zanskar confluence, Nubra valley-Sandunes, Diksit monastery, Pangong Lake, Rancho’s school, Hemis Monastery, Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery. I would like to thank all the units of the LehLadakh Journey and Travel Triangle to help us in customizing the trip and making it more memorable for us.

The package included 3 days bike trip. The bike they provided was the worst. It had a weak battery and there was also wiring problem. The first day ,we had to start our journey late because the agent messed up the inner line permit required and he had to renew it on the day of journey. This ruined the plan for the day and we couldn't cover all the places. The next day, the battery of the bike drained completely and even the kickstart didn't work...We had to contact a local mechanic to start the bike again. Again throughout the journey we faced trouble with it due to misfiring and the bike stopped for no reason in between. This messed up the plan for the day. Also the local help provided by the agency is of no good. When we tried to contact him in urgency he never answered the call. Overall, the response from the agency was poor once all the payment is done. The place was beautiful and breathtaking... Other than the issues we faced with the rental bike everything was good

      1. Overall travel experience with Tripita was good. 4/5 2. Hotel : Leh - Sangaylay was awesome 5/5. Ladakh Inn was 3.5/5. Nubra De Camp was little bad as no hot water was coming in the camp/room, it was given only in bucket. Re zangla cottage was ok considering the place and availability there. 3. Travel consultant was very prompt and good. 4. The car was very old. You should have given the option for Innova Crysta even if it is at little higher cost. Driver was ok and co operative. Considering the car I can rate as 3/5 5. May keep it as a good option. 6. Overall I will rate trip as 4/5

THINGS THAT NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION: 1. On the 4th day, my oxygen saturations dropped to critically low levels in Pangong Tso. Despite of timely informing our travel agent Rinky, we were not given any hotel stay refund for Tso moriri stay as we had to cut short our trip on medical grounds. 2. Given the tough conditions, you should provide required oxygen cylinders and first aid in the car and it should be a part of the package. This not being a part of the package can be really fatal and life-threatening for tourists who rely solely on your travel agents for the planning and best vacation experience. 3. Nubra Valley's camp service was terrible. Food was stale. No warm water. Only eggs and toast for breakfast. No tea options. This should never be recommended to any customer. Positive Things 1. The driver was REALLY NICE. his name was Mingur and he helped us to the best he could. Would totally recommend him as Driver. 2. Hotels in Leh were good. Food was great. Would recommend them.
