7-Day Kerala Tour with Munnar, Thekkady, and Alleppey Highlights 7 Days & 6 Nights

When you arrive in Cochin, you will be warmly welcomed. Then, enjoy a scenic drive of about 130 kilometres to Munnar, known as the green paradise of Kerala. Along the way, see the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Munnar is full of tea gardens and colourful flowers. Start your day with a tasty breakfast and get ready to explore Munnar. Visit the beautiful Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating at Kundala Lake. See the green forests around you and stop by Echo Point, Rose Garden, and the TATA Tea Museum. Later, go to Eravikulam National Park to see the rare Nilgiri Tahr and enjoy easy trekking with amazing views of Munnar. Return to your resort and rest for the night.

After breakfast, leave Munnar and drive about four hours to Thekkady. Check into your hotel and get ready for a fun visit to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a famous tiger reserve. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake and try to spot wild animals. Visit a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s spices. If you have time, watch a Kathakali dance or a Kalaripayattu martial arts show. End the day with an elephant ride through the green forest. Stay overnight in Thekkady.

After breakfast, leave for Alleppey, called the 'Venice of the East' because of its canals and green fields. Around noon, board your private houseboat and start a calm ride through the backwaters. Enjoy tasty Kerala food on board and relax while taking in the beautiful views. Spend a peaceful night on the houseboat.

After breakfast, leave the houseboat and go to Jatayu Earth Centre, home to the world’s biggest bird statue. Enjoy the amazing views from up high. Later, head to your beach resort in Kovalam. Spend the afternoon swimming, trying water sports, and relaxing on the beach. End the day by watching the beautiful sunset over the Arabian Sea. Stay overnight at the resort.

Start your day early by watching the beautiful sunrise at Kovalam Beach. After breakfast, go on a half-day tour of Trivandrum to see the city’s culture and history. Visit the Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, the city zoo, and the famous Padmanabha Swami Temple. In the evening, return to your resort in Kovalam for the night.
