7-Day Kerala Tour with Munnar, Alleppey, and Varkala Highlights 7 Days & 6 Nights

Arrive at Cochin airport, where our staff will welcome you. Drive to Munnar and enjoy the views of waterfalls, and green pepper, cardamom, and tea farms on the way. Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls to see the beautiful scenery. Once you reach Munnar, check into your hotel and rest for the night.

After breakfast, spend the whole day exploring Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam, a quiet place for a picnic and a boat ride. See Echo Point, where your voice comes back as an echo, and walk through the green tea gardens. At the Tea Museum, learn how tea is made. End the day at Blossom Park. If time allows, enjoy an elephant ride or visit Eravikulam National Park (open only in some seasons).

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady. The journey takes about 4 hours through the Western Ghats with views of waterfalls and spice farms. On reaching Thekkady, check into your hotel. Later, visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a boat ride on the lake. You can also see spice gardens nearby. In the evening, watch a Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu show. If you wish, relax with an Ayurvedic massage before resting at the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, famous for its backwaters. Check into your hotel and then explore the city. Visit Alappuzha Beach, the Krishna Temple, and the Old Lighthouse. Stop by the Coir Museum to learn something new. Later, enjoy a peaceful Shikara boat ride on the calm waters. Stay overnight at your hotel in Alleppey.

After breakfast, leave Alleppey and drive to Varkala. On the way, stop at Jatayu Earth’s Centre, which has the world’s largest bird sculpture and fun adventure activities. Once in Varkala, visit the beautiful beach, the old Janardhan Swami Temple, and the famous Varkala Cliff. Enjoy the amazing views of the Arabian Sea and relax with beachside activities. Stay overnight in Varkala.

Enjoy your breakfast and leave for Trivandrum. On the way, visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, famous for its beautiful design, and the Napier Museum with its fine artwork. You can also explore the Zoological Park and the Sri Chitra Art Gallery. After seeing these highlights, head to your hotel for rest or continue to the Trivandrum airport/railway station for your journey home.

After breakfast, pack up for your last day in Kerala. Visit Cochin’s famous sights like the Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Kochi, and St. Francis Church. Stop at Lulu Mall for some quick shopping before heading to Cochin Airport or Railway Station. Leave with wonderful memories of your Kerala journey.
