    Hitting the ground running

It is going to be a fast start to the tour, with plenty of excitement planned right from the first day. Once you arrive in Jaipur, you shall be received by our representatives, who will then take you to your hotel to let your check-in to your room. Drop off all of your heavy luggage, stretch your feet for a second and make yourselves at home. Then, get ready for a tour around the capital of Rajasthan, as we make our way to the Birla Temple. As the name itself must have made abundantly clear, the Birla Temple is a Hindu place of worship that was built in Jaipur by the Birla family and is one of many such temples around the country. After being blessed by this temple, we head towards the Nahargarh Fort. The mesmerising view of the city that this fort offers, especially as the sun sets in the sky, is sure to be one that you don’t forget in a hurry. The third and final stop we make on the day is at Chokhi Dhani. The taste of authentic Rajasthani cuisine that is served here, along with the live performances throughout the village makes this a feast for the senses. Return to your hotel at the end of the day for an overnight stay.

The wink and winds of Jaipur

Eat some breakfast at the start of the second day in the Ajmer Pushkar sightseeing tour plan as we explore even more of Jaipur. Starting with a visit to the gigantic Amber Fort, we head into its courtyard on the back of an elephant. The grandeur of this fortress is perhaps only matched by that of the destination that follows it. The Jaigarh Fort is next on the tour and it is most known as the fortress where the largest wheeled cannon in the world is present. The final two stops on the day’s Jaipur city tour are the magnificent Hawa Mahal, meaning “The Palace of Winds”, due to its interesting architecture which allows for its insides to remain cool and the glitter of the jewellery that lines all the shops in the Jouhari Bazaar. Once you return to your hotel, turn in for the night as we end the day in Jaipur.
