Ships are generally slower than airplanes. It would approximately take 50 hours for the ship to reach the Andaman Island. Whereas planes from either Delhi, Chennai or Calcutta would take you to your destination is less 4 hours.

When should I visit Andaman?

The best time to visit the Andaman Islands would be during the Indian Autumn and Spring season which normally stretches from October and April.

We booked through Da Oceans travel agency via travel triangle. Pro- The trip was good. The travel agents were good and were coming to receive and drop us from airport, ferry, hotels and other locations diligently. The hotel rooms were nice. Hotel staff was friendly. Con- When we requested to make half payments of last installation in 2 parts travel triangle contact was agreeable but the message was not passed to travel agency Da Oceans's owner Mr. Tanmay Mallik who behaved quite rudely on hearing this request. Hotel lobby was not great for hotel F. Rescheduling a day of plan cost us a lot. Details of time taken for ferry rides or mention of royal/deluxe/general class was not given in itinerary. The ferry seats booked were not good. Overall it was convenient to book through travel agency but however we could have booked better for ourselves with same amount of money if we gave it time and effort. All together the trip was awesome and we enjoyed a lot. Only in Havelock, the agent ARIF KHAN was little irresponsive person and the Day 2 in Havelock was not planned well. Please re think before assigning any duty to him. The elephant beach was closed from many days due to bad weather and it was not informed to us till the last moment. Also, the snorkeling was banned from a month due to some reason, and the same was not informed to us by TAT (Shashikanth) also. If it is known, we could have planned something else for the day. Except these, the tour was fantastic. Now I am waiting for Refund, as agreed by the travel agent.

Place is no doubt awesome, but there were certain small issues faced such as complementary snorkeling which was included in the package but denied later on, some miscommunications with the agents and the driver, hotel location was very far from city in Port Blair which was not informed prior. Overall it was good, but services can be improved in future.

The hotels at portblair needs to looked into the hotel Kavitha regent stay was not good the washroom of hotel stinked and it became difficult even to sleep at night due to bad smell. The hotel was said to be three star but it was not worth even 01 star. Rest the cab service at all the places was good. Niel island is the best even better than havlock

The travel agent I got from travel triangle was good for our Andaman trip, we had good memorable trip. Out of 2 hotels we stayed 1 hotel was pathetic. Also , even after telling the travel agent there are senior citizens travelling they booked rooms upstairs which doesn’t have lift, so they faced difficulties going up and down. The cab service provided by agent was excellent. Thank you, travel triangle and Holiday Feet. Beautiful beaches and very decent local people.

We happen to book our Andaman travel through this agency (Andaman Travelmania) during early Dec-24. Arrangements were excellent and they ensured our comforts throughout our trip. All pick up & drops were in time and accommodations were superb. Itinerary shared by then was really good and covered maximum places in 4n/5d. Special thanks to Nazia the coordinator from the agency who was very proactive and had made all arrangements in time. She was great in guiding us while itinerary was being finalized. She was in regular touch with us throughout the trip and ensured our comfort at all venues. Coordinators Anil bhai (at Port Blair) and Deepankar (at Havelock) were too good and took care of us very well. In nutshell, entire arrangement by this agency was superb.

My overall vacation experience was good with Travel Triangles, Agents were timely and polite they explained the itinerary pretty well , specially Yasith was great and accommodating. Drivers we met were polite as well their cabs were clean and tidy with good music ON all the time , it was always nice conversing with them. Few of the Hotel Staff we met were nice and helpful too. But there were few things I'd like to specify in particular which could have been better : 1. Hotels : Out of 3 Hotels 2 were mildly unsatisfactory reasons being cleanliness (Rooms/Restroom) , Food option, minimal services by Staff and Locations . 2. Cab Facilities : Drivers we met in all the locations were great! They were doing their job just right and probably just what they were instructed. But, we did not utilise Cab as much as we should have. Some of the Hotels booked in our itinerary were booked so close from our pickup point that Cab was not necessary at all, for this least Travel Triangle should offer transportation to restaurant somewhere out rather than asking for payment if we want a trip to place where we can eat just because it wasn't in the itinerary - Minimal Cab was utilised in Havelock Island. 3. Itinerary could have been prepared a bit better : Ferries were booked in such a way that our Entire Day 4 was at the HOTEL in Port Blare , Nothing was planned and no cab facilities were provided that day after we reached to the hotel. Ferry from Neil was in the morning - couldn't do anything there and after reaching to Port Blare for any Cab assistance extra charge would have been levied Trip felt like even after paying 75k we spent way too much by ourselves and did not utilise all the Money I spent.
