    Overview

This 4 days / 3 nights Andaman tour package from Vadodara is built for Gujarat travellers who want the islands organised end to end, flights routed, the Havelock ferry pre-booked and hotels confirmed in Port Blair and Havelock (Swaraj Dweep). Because there is no direct flight from Vadodara to Port Blair, the package is planned around a smooth connection through Ahmedabad or Mumbai, so you land at Veer Savarkar International Airport and step straight into your trip.

Across four days you cover the historic Cellular Jail and its evening light-and-sound show, the white sand of Radhanagar Beach, snorkelling at Elephant Beach, and a relaxed last morning at Corbyn's Cove. The headline price of INR 21,410 per person is land-only (hotels, the Havelock ferry and all transfers); add your Vadodara–Port Blair airfare for the all-in cost, both are explained in the price section below so there are no surprises. Every day, hotel and inclusion can be changed to suit a family, a honeymoon or a group of friends.

How To Reach Andaman From Vadodara

There is no direct flight from Vadodara (BDQ) to Port Blair, so every Vadodara itinerary connects through a larger airport, most commonly Ahmedabad or Mumbai. This package is planned around that routing so you do not have to piece the journey together yourself.

    By air (recommended)

From Vadodara you fly to Ahmedabad (about 45 minutes, or a 1.5–2 hour drive) or Mumbai (about 1 hour 15 minutes), then connect to Port Blair's Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ) via Chennai, Kolkata or Delhi. Door-to-island time runs 8–11 hours including layovers, so most travellers leave Vadodara early morning. Flights into Port Blair are daytime-only (the airport does not handle night landings), which is why an early connection out of Gujarat matters.

By sea (budget / experience route)

Government passenger ships sail to Port Blair from Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata, taking around 3 days each way. From Vadodara you would still travel to one of those port cities first, so this route suits travellers with time to spare rather than a short island holiday, most Gujarat travellers fly both ways.

Want the full routing detail, fares and timetable? See our complete Andaman travel guide. Routing through Gujarat's main gateway? Compare the Andaman tour packages from Ahmedabad, your nearest departure hub.

    Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Port Blair, Corbyn's Cove & Cellular Jail

Meals: none included on arrival day · Stay: Port Blair · Transfers included

After your connecting flight via Ahmedabad or Mumbai lands at Veer Savarkar International Airport, our representative meets you and drives you to your Port Blair hotel for check-in. Once you have freshened up, you head to the Cellular Jail (Kala Pani), the colonial-era prison central to India's freedom struggle, and stay on for the evening light-and-sound show that narrates its history through the voices of the freedom fighters held there. If your flight lands early, you can add a relaxed walk at Corbyn's Cove Beach, the closest beach to the city, and a stroll around Aberdeen Bazaar before returning to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) & Radhanagar Beach

Meals: breakfast · Stay: Havelock · Sightseeing + ferry included

After breakfast and check-out, you transfer to the jetty for a catamaran ferry across to Havelock Island, now officially Swaraj Dweep, a crossing of about 1.5–2 hours. Once you've checked in to your Havelock hotel, the afternoon is for Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), regularly ranked among Asia's finest beaches and famous for its wide white sand and clean, calm water. It is one of the best places in the islands to watch the sunset. Overnight in Havelock.

Day 3: Elephant Beach & return to Port Blair

Meals: breakfast · Stay: Port Blair · Sightseeing + ferry included

This morning is for Elephant Beach, reached by a short boat ride from Havelock, where the calm, shallow reef is ideal for snorkelling, the sea-walk and other water activities (paid on the spot). The clear blue water and coral make it the best spot on the trip to try snorkelling, even for first-timers. By evening you take the ferry back to Port Blair and check in for the night. If time allows, an optional sunset at Chidiya Tapu, the well-known sunset and birdwatching point about 25 km from the city, is an easy add-on. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 4: Port Blair sightseeing & departure

Meals: breakfast · Departure transfer included

After breakfast and check-out, there is time for a last visit to Corbyn's Cove Beach or some shopping at Aberdeen Bazaar and the Sagarika Government Emporium for shell craft and souvenirs, depending on your flight time. Our representative then transfers you to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your return flight, connecting back to Vadodara via Ahmedabad or Mumbai. Book your onward leg with a comfortable layover, as Port Blair flights depart in the daytime only.

Price: Land Package vs With Airfare

The headline price of INR 21,410 per person is land-only, it covers your hotels, the Havelock ferry and all transfers, but not flights. For a Vadodara traveller the real all-in cost is the land package plus the Vadodara–Port Blair airfare, which varies by season. Below is how the tiers compare (figures per person, twin-sharing):

    TierHotelsLand price ppBest for
    Budget3-star / standardfrom ~INR 17,000–19,000Cost-first, short stay
    Comfort (this package)Quality 3–4 starfrom INR 21,410Families, first-timers
    Deluxe4–5 star + extras~INR 26,000–34,000Honeymoon, premium stays

Add the Vadodara–Port Blair return airfare (around INR 12,000–22,000 pp depending on how early you book, the routing and the season) to get your all-in cost. Because Gujarat has no direct service, fares run higher than from Chennai or Kolkata, booking 6–8 weeks ahead and travelling in the shoulder months keeps this figure at the lower end. Tell us your dates and we will quote the live land + air total.

    Cancellation & Refund Policy

Plans change, and the policy is designed to be clear before you pay. Typical terms for this package are below, your final confirmation voucher carries the exact policy:

    • 30+ days before departure: minimal cancellation charge (booking/processing fee only).

    • 15–29 days before departure: part of the advance is retained.

    • 7–14 days before departure: roughly half the tour cost is retained.

    • Under 7 days / no-show: most of the tour cost is non-refundable.

Flight tickets, once issued, follow the airline's own cancellation rules and are handled separately from the land package.

Food & Dietary Notes For Gujarati Travellers

Vegetarian food is easy to find across Port Blair and Havelock, most hotels serve a North-Indian and South-Indian vegetarian spread, and pure-vegetarian restaurants are available in Port Blair (around Aberdeen Bazaar) and on Havelock. Seafood is the local speciality, but a Gujarati vegetarian family will eat comfortably throughout the trip. If you follow a strict Jain diet or prefer no onion and garlic, tell us in advance and we will pre-arrange suitable hotels and meals so there are no surprises on the islands.

      FAQs About Andaman Tour Packages

How do I reach Andaman from Vadodara?

There is no direct flight from Vadodara to Port Blair. You fly from Vadodara to Ahmedabad or Mumbai and connect to a Port Blair flight via Chennai, Kolkata or Delhi, landing at Veer Savarkar International Airport. Total travel time is usually 8–11 hours including layovers. A government ship from Chennai, Visakhapatnam or Kolkata is the budget alternative but takes around 3 days each way.

Are there direct flights from Vadodara to Andaman?

No. Vadodara has no direct air service to Port Blair, and very few flights connect onward from Vadodara airport itself. The practical route is Vadodara → Ahmedabad or Mumbai → Chennai/Kolkata/Delhi → Port Blair (IXZ). We plan the package around this connection so the timings line up with the daytime-only landings at Port Blair.

Does this Vadodara to Andaman package include airfare?

No, the ₹21,410 price is a land-only package covering hotels, the Havelock ferry and transfers. Your Vadodara–Port Blair flights are quoted separately so you see the real cost clearly. We can bundle the flights and give you one all-in price on request.

How much does an Andaman tour from Vadodara cost?

The 4 days / 3 nights land package starts at ₹21,410 per person on twin-sharing. Budget options start a little lower and deluxe 4–5 star stays run higher. Add the Vadodara–Port Blair return airfare (around ₹12,000–22,000 pp depending on season and how early you book) for your all-in cost.

How many days do I need for an Andaman trip from Vadodara?

This 4 days / 3 nights plan covers Port Blair and Havelock comfortably and is the most popular short option. Because the journey from Gujarat is long, many travellers add a night and a Neil Island or scuba-diving day for a 5N/6D version, we can extend the itinerary to suit your dates.

Is vegetarian and Jain food available in Andaman?

Yes. Hotels across Port Blair and Havelock serve North-Indian and South-Indian vegetarian meals, and pure-vegetarian restaurants are easy to find, especially around Aberdeen Bazaar in Port Blair. Seafood is the local highlight, but Gujarati vegetarian and Jain travellers eat comfortably ,tell us your preference and we pre-arrange it.

Can I customise this Andaman package from Vadodara?

Every part of the itinerary can be changed. Upgrade to 5-star hotels, add Neil Island or a scuba day, switch to a honeymoon plan with a candle-light dinner and a sea-view room, or build a family-friendly version, you compare multiple agent quotes before booking, and the package adjusts to your departure dates from Vadodara.

Ready To Plan Your Andaman Trip From Vadodara?

Share your travel dates and group size and our Andaman experts will send you a customised quote, land-only or with flights via Ahmedabad or Mumbai. Compare all Andaman tour packages and book the islands with everything sorted before you leave Vadodara.

What is the best time to visit Andaman from Gujarat?

October to May is the ideal window, with December to February the peak season for clear skies and calm seas. Avoid the June–September monsoon, when heavier rain and rougher seas can disrupt the Havelock ferry. Booking flights from Vadodara/Ahmedabad 6–8 weeks ahead gives the best fares on the longer west-India routing.

Huge thanks to Pinky for organising this solo trip for me on such short notice and trying to incoorpotate al the things I wanted to do without fuss. She was also very supportive during the trip and got things arranged quickly when I needed and made it a very smooth trip! Grateful to her. The travel
agent in Andaman though was not very responsive to me maybe because of language barrier so that can be improved. Driver Anish was sweet. Hotels could have been better but again booking was a bit late. Overall had a good time.

Also , even after telling the travel agent there are senior citizens travelling they booked rooms upstairs which doesn’t have lift, so they faced d

Andaman was an amazing place for me and my family. The first day we stayed in Port Blair at the Airport Hotel Inn. The employees were nice and helpful and our representative at Port Blair was good person. He understood what we were looking for and guided us well. Our stay at Port Blair was pleasant.
The next day we had to take a Government ferry to Neil Island. Though I wish it was a private cruise as it takes almost 2.5 hours to reach Neil Island from Port Blair. However our day in Neil Island was a bit testy. We were tired and once we reached Neil our representative was nice to suggest us some tender coconut before we headed to our hotel. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort which was amazing with the pool. The food wasn't that great sadly but the stay was good and comfortable and the staff was helpful as well. It was a pleasant stay. But due to odd timings in arriving the islands we miss out on a lot of views . Then our driver took us to the Natural bridge and we had to meet up with him after an hour. We were 5minutes late from our appointed time and the driver made us wait while he dropped another group. His attitude was not pleasant and did not feel good. He drove pretty rashly too. Like we were most of the time flying out of our seats. That was not a good attitude and I am traveling with two elderly parents and a handicapped brother so it's not pleasant to ask us to wait . I wish I was informed that the transportation was limited and had to be shared even while taking a tour package. Based on that me and my agent could have planned. Half the time we were waiting and wasted away precious time when we could have seen something else. While we waited another driver came and I believe he was our actual representative . It was quite confusing. The second driver however was nice and patient and suggested us an amazing home-cooked seafood restaurant which I believe should be visited for those looking for good local seafood dishes. Our day ended without much incidents. The next day we headed to Havelock Island on the MakCruzz and that I must tell you was an amazing experience. The cruise ship was classy and the staff was very professional and I am grateful to Holiday guide for this particular cruise experience. My family was quite thrilled . We reached Havelock which is an amazing island . I would say the most happening Island. We stayed at the Havelock Holiday Inn Resort and that hotel I am sorry to say was a bad experience. The restaurant and the staff at the restaurant were good but the hotel staff was a bit arrogant with attitude. We had opted for two rooms with garden facing but the rooms we got were at the end of the corridor with no view whatsoever and the room Me and my mom stayed in was I believe still under construction. There was no headboard, the flush was not working as the other room and no hot water. That was an unpleasant stay. I had gone and asked for change in room and they obliged to change but only for the next day. It was uncomfortable. The beauty of Havelock however covered all the bumps of the stay. Me and my brother had opted for scuba dive and trust me l, it's worth doing a scuba dive in Havelock. Life under the sea is so different and magical. It was well worth it. On our final day when we checked out of the hotel it started raining non stop and my family was very disappointed with the staff behaviour. They provided us no umbrellas to help us reach our car . I asked them to atleast help my elder brother to the car and no one was in sight. That was rude . Its like once we check out we are no longer important. That attitude as well as the manager I believe was unprofessional in this manner. It was quite an unhappy experience at the hotel .we pay so much to have a good vacation not to bear with the attitude of the employees. I strongly would not recommend a stay in Havelock Holiday Inn Resort. Our representative in Havelock was a nice person and we had a pleasant journey with his guidance. The cruise back to Port Blair was again a mess. We were travelling in A cruise by Green ocean but we had economy seats which I was not aware meant that we would be sitting at the ship's lower deck without any windows which was quite suffocating. That was pathetic. I had to go to the person in charge and request for an upgrade and had to pay more to be seated upstairs. The rest of the journey was then pleasant. Our overall experience I would say was a mix between good and bad. There was something bad but there was something good that compensated for the same. However I wish it would not be so as it is a vacation and I wish the agents will take that into consideration. Any thing that I have mentioned strongly against I make my stand on that. The glass boat we took in Neil Island was beautiful and was well worth experiencing. The blue calm beaches of Havelock and Holiday Inn Resort at Neil Island . The scuba dive in Havelock is well worth experiencing.

All together the trip was awesome and we enjoyed a lot. Only in Havelock, the agent ARIF KHAN was little irresponsive person and the Day 2 in Havelock was not planned well. Please re think before assigning any duty to him. The elephant beach was closed from many days due to bad weather and it was no
t informed to us till the last moment. Also, the snorkeling was banned from a month due to some reason, and the same was not informed to us by TAT (Shashikanth) also. If it is known, we could have planned something else for the day. Except these, the tour was fantastic. Now I am waiting for Refund, as agreed by the travel agent.

Nina's 5 days trip to Andaman

We had a really good time in Port Blair and Havelock. However, a lot of our time was wasted in Neil Island. The tour coordinator was no where to be seen, there was no information on the activities in Bharatpura beach. We were additionally charged for the glass bottom boat ride in Neil island. We hav
e called the tour coordinator and asked, he told it was not included, even when we told him to check the itinerary. When we have complained the same to our tour coordinator in Port Blair regarding the refund was given. When enquiring for quotes and itinerary preparation, Lazy Yatra have not put forward more beautiful places to see in Port Blair. As a result we have wasted one day in Neil island, which could have utilized to cover more interesting places in Port Blair. On the whole Port Blair and Havelock had very good tour coordinators who left us with good memories. Neil Island was a big disappointment. Kalapathar Beach is a must visit.
