When you arrive at IXB airport or NJP railway station, you will be transferred to Phuentsholing. From India, the Gateway of Bhutan by Road. When you arrive there, check into the hotel and have rest. The remaining day is at leisure. Stay for a peaceful sleep.

Let’s travel to the new city – Thimphu
After your delicious breakfast at the hotel, complete the immigration formalities and finish your check out formalities before you leave for Thimphu. The drive will be of 6 hours as the distance is 176 km. When you reach Thimphu, check-in at your pre-booked hotel and relax. In the morning, eat your breakfast and begin your full day excursion trip to Gangtey. The distance is 78 km which takes 3 hours drive. Gangtey is the home to Black Necked Cranes. These cranes migrate in the north from the Tibet arid plains. Gangtey is a beautiful valley in Bhutan and doesn’t forget to visit Gangtey Gompa as well. After your excursion for a full-day, return back in the evening. For the night, stay at Punakha/Wangdue and have a peaceful sleep.
