Today you will visit the first dham of the yatra Yamunotri. After breakfast, you will be driven to Jankichatti from where you will have to reach Yamunotri by trek. Have a holy dip in the Jamnabai Kund and Tapt Kund and then proceed to the darshan of Divya Shila and goddess Yamuna at Yamunotri temple. Devotees can cook rice in Garam Pani Kund, offer it as prasad and take it back home. After the darshan, drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.

Later, you can participate in the aarti at Gangotri temple followed by the darshan at Surya Kund. From Gangotri, drive further to Gangnani where you can visit Rishikund. On your way back, take darshan at Gupteshwar Mahadev temple at Dharali. Return to Uttarkashi, eat a dainty dinner and retire to your rooms.
