Step into the land of tea estates and high peaks

The guests will arrive at the New Jalpaiguri Station or Bagdogra airport from where they will be welcomed and transferred to Darjeeling. On arrival, the guests will check-in the hotel and refresh themselves after the journey. The guests will leave for sightseeing after lunch visiting the first location which is the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Very popular sightseeing destination, it houses galleries and museums depicting the life stories of several mountaineers and also has shelves showcasing mountain-climbing gears. The next location, the Tenzing Rock is also a famous spot named after Tenzing Norgay and is one of the natural rock-climbing sites in Darjeeling.

Finally, the guests will visit a few tea estates and view the gardens from outside and conclude the tour by visiting the Japanese Temple and the nearby Peace Pagoda. One can get a breathtaking view of the landscapes which not only covers Darjeeling town but also the Kanchenjunga mountain range. Other notable places to visit are Himalayan Railway Station, Nightingale Park, Bengal Natural History Museum, and Mag-Dhog Yolmowa Monastery. The guests will then return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Witness a charming sunrise and bid farewell to the hills

The final day will start early in the morning. The guests will be taken to Tiger Hill at 4 in the morning. A magnificent vista will amaze the guests as they will witness the sun rising above the tallest Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-largest peak. On their way back to the hotel, the guests will visit Ghoom Monastery which bears testimony to the traditional Buddhist culture and religion. The next destination will be the Batasia Loop, which is mainly a war memorial adorned with flowers and smooth grasses. The well-decorated gardens are perfect to click fantastic photographs here with the railway track and alluring mountains in the background. There are several other places that one can opt to explore in Darjeeling at an additional expense.

After the sightseeing, the guests will return to the hotel and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The guests will then check-out of the hotel and depart for New Jalpaiguri or Bagdogra Airport to return back to their origin with wonderful memories.
