Gokarna does not have any airport but it is well connected by road to its nearest major cities. Dabolim airport is the nearest airport to Gokarna which is around 140 km away and takes a 3 to 4 hour road journey to reach Gokarna. The airport is well connected with all the major cities in India and abroad. The next nearest airport is Bangalore airport. From the airport taxi services are easily available to Gokarna.
The nearest railway station to Gokarna is situated at Ankola which is about 20 kms away from the place. Trains from different parts of India including Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram halt at the station.From the station one can easily book a taxi to reach Gokarna.
Gokarna is located 10 km off to the NH 17 and is well connected by road to the cities. By KSRTC, buses runs regularly from Bangalore, Mangalore, Hubli to Gokarna. Also from Madgaon, Goa one can easily get a bus to Gokarna.
