          Soumya's 9 days trip to Kerala

          My review on this entire trip is 3, felt expensive. Day 1 &2- Trivandram to Kovalam. Rooms were not arranged though we had said we are coming early. We had to shell additional money and make alternate arrangements. Later checked in to neelkantha, good location and awesome view. Walking is more, not suggested for old aged people. Rooms are old , and we had leakages, they changed room upon request. Overall kovalam experience was 4/5 Day 3- Kovalam to Alleppey. Last minute location was changed to kumarakom, not sure if it was to save money. Boat house was old and add wood powder falling on us whole night. We didnt have any other option, so had to survive. The only good was food and people. Boat house-2/5 Food and people-5/5 Day 4- thekkedy Best stay and food of entire itenary.  5/5 Day 5&6- Munnar Day 5- hotel cant be rated even as 2 star , ad no proper arrangement for food and leisurely activities. Later upon request hotel was changed and it was pretty ok for day 6 its 4/5 Day 7- Guruvayoor Ok, cant expect much from temple town after seeing all 6 days experience Day 8- cochin Very bad hotel, infact no proper service and have language barrier Overall my trip planning experience with travel triangle is 3/5.           I highly recommend Namaskaram Travels (Travel Triangle) for the perfect travel arrangements. Every thing was organised wonderfully. The itinerary, hotels and most amazing was the driver. He was highly professional and had detailed knowledge of the sightseeing places, restaurants, shopping, local culture, everything. My daughter had vomiting and the driver was extremely helpful and patient. Had the most comforting trip inspite of so much travel. It was a great experience. A very special thanks to Mr. Harish for his calls almost everyday to find out whether we are comfortable and if we needed anything. Thank you Harish for the most wonderful trip for me and my family. Will definitely plan all our future trips through you only. Surfing at Kovalam beach was beyond description . Full of adrenaline rush and excitement, the surfing experience can only be felt and not explained.

          Overall Trip was good, only one thing which can be improved is Alleppey Houseboat. Houseboat experience was pathetic.Next time i will not stay in Houseboat. Houseboat captain has stolen my money from purse. I didn't raise at that time due to safety issue. Poovar Island, Kanyakumari, Varkala and Kovalam beach.

          House boat was not of premium quality & all services were not good. There are many hotels better than Bharani like hotel seashore etc.we pay for 4 to 5 star quality hotel but we didn't get in these two things but other hotels were good for staying. In kochi iternary few more sight seeing should have been included. The entire trip was memorable one from kochi to kanyakumari & hassle free.

Pappukutty resort is not good for family, Prince the Munnar hotel room was difderent than what has given in photo. Kanyakumari , Munnar, Povar ireland. Jatayu park. Thekkady shows.

          Overall experience was good and satisfactory. Only concern regarding the hotels which were not good and maintained properly as per their star rating. Like Princess de munnar (room quality and frequently power cut issues) , karar garden & Unwind hotel ( no any electric catle provided), Millennium Continental ( AC was not working properly due to which loads of time went into changing the room & discussion with hoteliers) Hotels could be better for hassle free stay Munnar & Thekkady Sightseeing

          Kerala - a treat for eyes, mind, body and soul. We had an excellent experience as a family of 6, and so glad we selected Arha Holidays through Travel Triangle. From the time we decided to travel, to customized itinerary, to hotel selection, to travel arrangements, to follow-ups during the trip, Arha Holidays provided excellent customer service. To top it all, our driver, Sooraj was exceptional - he acted as a tour guide and our camera person to capture some golden memories from the trip. Two tips for people traveling with family with small kids, 1. Avoid the overnight stay in the houseboat 2. Sagara beach resort in Kovalam isn’t exactly kid friendly

          In Munnar, booked hotel was good, all 3 rooms we’re having different views so not all the friends were happy, hotel property was great with lots of activities available within resort, bathrooms were too small,. Thekkady property was good with same view for all 3 rooms. Kovalam property was also good, as it was 3 star property the limited services were available. So overall trip was fine. Driver was unable to speak Hindi and very little English, Again driver was not much co-operative, he used to lost temper during evening times , he could have said politely but instead he used to raise his voice, so 2.5 rating for driver Travel agent helped a lot throughout journey whenever needed assistance.

          Driver wasn't know the roads. He has to ask every time to somebody. Driver should be like a guide He should tell us what to see in the tourist spots. Our driver had no idea.           This is first time we visited Kerala and overall we had a great memorable trip of 8 nights and 9 days. Travel triangle team is very user friendly and we got best quotes from different vendors and stick with All India Holidays. We got very efficient cab driver with lot of patience and he become our family member during our trip of 9 days We enjoyed all the Hotels booked as a part of package except Kovalam (Ocean bay Beach resort) which is not up to the standards. We will give top rating to Revertree hotel booked in Munnar for 2 days.           Every thing was supercool just the boathouse was full of insects as the sun set. Kerala is the place I never wanted to leave and it’s the place I’d like to visit again with Travel Traingle. Mr. Vijit from Travel Unbounded has also been helpful throughout the trip asking for any problems and whereabouts. I would love to plan my next holidays with them. Driver Firos was helpful in every manner. He knew where he was taking us what roads he should pick to deliver us the sightseeing we wanted, he even acted as a local scout for us as we are from North India. He is such a good person that I will try to be in touch with him even after this trip. Munnar was the first destination for us at Kerala. This place has never ending beauty as such that My words aren’t enough to explain. Road side houses are very beautiful. Roads are very nice and smooth. Kathakali dance, wow I would never forget those expressions from the dancers and Kalari too. Backwaters Allepuzha nice to feel the house floating on water. Beaches on Kovallam and the sunset. It’s a must do tour. Planing to visit here in last weeks of June to first of July did the trick for me I guess as this place is known for its greenery and the best time to see greenery is after the first Monsoon shower right. Clouds covering mountains is also a sight to see. At the end of the tour I was really feeling down as I had to head back and I was just into the place. I can feel I am taking Kerala in my good memories. People say food here is bad and cooked in coconut oil. It’s not true to the core but yeah Punjabi food is a bit different from north but it’s good in taste. I would rate the taste to 3 out of 5. Place is safe for couple and people are cooperating.
