Step into the land of fairy tales

The tour will start from Delhi on a luxury Volvo bus which will take the guests to Manali. It is about a 12-hour journey and will take the entire day to reach the destination. You will come across several sightseeing locations during the journey and halts will be provided. The tourists will first visit beautiful Sundernagar lake. The water of Beas and Satluj gave rise to this man-made lake situated at Sundar Nagar village of Mandi district. There are also several temples near the lake which adds to the serenity of the place. Next, guests will reach Pandoh dam, an embankment dam built across river Beas. This place is flocked by tourists due to it’s attracting landscape especially when the water flow is huge. The final destination for the day will be visit to mini Vaishno Devi temple. Upon arrival in Manali, the guests will check-in at a hotel, and relax for the rest of the day post having a delicious dinner.

Explore the town of eucalyptus and fur

After a luscious breakfast, travelers will be taken on a whole day city tour. The first destination is a must visit place for honeymooners as it is considered to be very holy and therefore the newly weds visit the temple to seek blessings for their upcoming life. Located in the median of Dhungiri Van Vihar forest, Hidimba Temple is a four-tier structure built of wood. The next destination is Vashist village situated on the banks of the river Ravi. It is famous for its natural springs and temples made of sandstone. Located near Mall road, the next attraction is Van Vihar forest. It is residing place of gigantic pine and deodar trees which creates a shady, dark ambience inside the woods, perfect showcase of flora in Manali. The final destination is the Tibetan monastery of The Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa situated near Mall road. It is also a major place of worship for the huge tibetian population residing in Kullu and Manali. One can also explore the Tibetian markets nearby selling a plethora of handmade as well as custom-made goods. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Indulge yourself in the tranquility of the snow cladded valley

The day will start after having a delicious breakfast in the hotel. The third day is assigned to a full day visit to the ultimate and mandatory destination in Manali- Solang Vallyey or Rohtang Pass. It is about 51kms drive from the main town and can only be reached by road. The sensational pass connects Manali to Lahaul and Spiti district. The majestic pass situated way up in the hills bears a striking landscape which will take away your breath. As the guests will be driven along the Manali-Keylong road, the jaw-dropping beauty of the surrounding will cast a spell on everyone. As the altitude rises, the chill in the atmosphere intensifies which is a thrilling experience. On reaching the main spot, one can enjoy the day by skiing in the snow, horse riding and snow scooter ride. Since it provides a great surrounding for clicking pictures, one can capture many moments there.

Since Rohtang pass is very popular tourist site, the government has to assign certain rules so as to maintain and preserve this pass. According to NGT(National Green Tribunal), the total number of vehicles permitted each day to cross the pass is limited to 1200 among which 800 is petrol and 400 is diesel. Due to this restriction, visiting the pass depends on the availability of permit on that particular day.

After a happening day, the guests can return to the hotel and relax or have a walk across the Mall road of Manali. The dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Explore the medieval castle of the hills

The fourth day would again start by a fine breakfast and the guests will prepare themselves for a whole day tour to a medieval town, situated in Kullu. People may visit Naggar Castle Gallery which houses paintings of Russian artist Nicholas Roerich and also has three prehistoric shrines. Just below the castle, there is Gauri Shankar temple where visitors can seek blessings.

The local sightseeing of Naggar includes several temples and monasteries. The guests will be taken to Jagatipatt temple, the ancient earthquake resistant structure. Tripura Sundari temple is another attraction due to its structure which is completely built of deodar woods. River rafting is very common in Naggar and thereby guests can also opt for experiencing rafting in the river Beas. The shawl factories of the locals is a great place to buy souvenirs since their work depict an excellent masterpiece of creativity made with minimal machine help.

Bidding adieu to Manali with sparkling memories

Have an early breakfast and board the Volvo bus. This is the last day of our Manali honeymoon package with volvo. The Volvo bus heads towards Delhi. It is roughly twelve hours from there. Travelers are expected to reach Delhi around 6/7pm. Thereafter the couples may depart for their native city by air or train as per their convenience and arrangement.
