I took a solo trip to Shillong and Cherrapunji and it was quite a memorable one . Right from my pick up at Airport to covering all the sightseeing mentioned in the Itenary to getting checked into hotels all were well organized and hassle free. Agent Mayurima was quite supportive and efficient and she helped me also to resolve my queries on spot. The guide cum.driver provided to me Mr. Dhan was also very good and cooperative Thank you very much for arranging a wonderful trip !!! My best memories will always linger onto those deep gorges of Latilum canyon and down to the adventures of those Mawsmai Masks and Arwah caves

Hello Travel Triangle team, First of all, thanks for organizing blissful journey with my family, which we all had enjoyed a lot. Kudos to the team!!! Below are pros and cons which I like to highlight for reference. 1. Our travel agent was Akhilesh Srivastava from Indeman Travel, who managed our trip well enough and handled few hiccups very efficiently. 2. Cab drivers, Yassih Adohc for Gangtok and Musaddik Alom for Assam and Meghalaya, both had done a tremendous job and took us to every tourist place as per the itinerary on time. Thanks a lot to both guys. 3. Hotels were good enough for night stay, mostly with no issues. 4. Pickup-drops were done on time, no issues in that. Special mention - "Musaddik Alom" helped us in reaching hospital with our kid in shillong. My kid fell down in shillong Hotel room and got hurt. He also managed to complete the itineries along with the hospital. special thanks to the driver. 5. Hotel Kaso in Gangtok was good however it seems like property being managed by inexperienced staff, as I was traveling with my 3 years old kid and there was requirement of milk, at first instance they didn`t respond positively (could be issue of language barrier) and told us that there was no availability of milk however after Akhilesh intervention, they provided us milk. When we asked for tea in room service at 6:30 pm, someone said from reception "abhi to dinner banna start ho gaya hai Gas khali nahi hai". this is not acceptable. if you have a hotel with so many floors and rooms, you need to equip your kitchen with multiple stoves. Food quality was so-so, the servers were courteous however some of the food items were not hot like poha was served cold which became hard, upma was dry and could have been cooked more. Kindly arrange hotels which has microwave to serve hot food and provides milk facility specially when there is a travelling family with Kid. 6. We stayed at La-Castle in Shillong and had a great experience over there with no issues. 7. La Kuper Inn at cherrapungi was not good enough, things were limited due to remote place which is fine for us, however staff doesn`t seem to care much about guest instructions as I explained them in advance, in written and verbal instruction both that to make a dish without onion-garlic for my father at dinner however they skipped the instructions and in the end my father ate chapatis without any curry/dish, it was disappointing for us and made the stay uncomfortable. Breakfast was late, food was below average and our driver didnt got food and water in the washroom. At last, the driver "Musaddik Alom" left without breakfast and bath. Not recommend at all. Also, in one of the bathroom (Room no 9), there was issue of water clogging. During bath, the water was getting filled in the bathroom. 8. Riwar Cottage was good, food options were limited and amenities like wifi, tv was not available due to remote village location, however it was fine. Staff was courteous and services were provided on time efficiently. 9. Arna Residency at Guwahati was good for stay, no issues here. however one thing I would to inform that staff needs some more training about how to behave with guests specially senior citizens. After check-in, my father asked for 4 cups of tea to be served in room, but the staff in reception said "72 rs ki hai ek chai". We didnt asked for the rate, it was weird for us however we ignored it. 10. Two hiccups were there during check-ins, when we reached La-castle and Arna residency, we were informed that our booking was not confirmed, however it was resolved by Akhilesh at that time. Hotel management informed us that "the bookings are being made on spot. In case, no rooms were available, what you would have done, Sir?" I would like to mention here that in such case we would have been sent to another hotel which is not good. The hotels should be always pre-booked. so that the tourists dont need to wait. Few Pros: 1) La-castle food was great for us. they followed all the instructions perfectly. 2) Riwar cottage provided all the facility they had on time. their behaviour is phenomenal as they were always responding with a smiling face. 3) Both the drivers were great. Overall trip was good and we enjoyed a lot, Thanks to the Indeman Travel and Travel Triangle team once again.

I Planned a 3 days trip to Cherrapunjee from 11th to 13th of May...After evaluating a lot of options, booked it with Shashi from Offbeat Roads...Since i have already visited Cherrapunjee before so i wanted to customise the trip according to my convenience and Shashi was really prompt and replied to all my queries. The hotel stay at Saimika was wonderful and the property has an awesome view of the river.Only there was one problem ,though we have paid the whole payment in advance before the starting of the trip but the driver complained about his payment not done even after 2 days of the completion of the trip...When the driver told us this on first day of our trip...we have been assured by Shashi that it'll be paid on the same day...But still we got a call from the driver that it is not being paid....I don't understand that even after paying in advance for everything why we have to deal with all this after the trip is over.....This was not expected from Travel triangle and Off beat roads.

Hi, First like to thank travel triangle and reify especially nikitha for the successful trip to guwahati, shillong, kaziranga and cherrapunji on behalf of our group of 20 members. Pros. Professional team with committed travel assistance from nikitha. Constant update about our position by travel agent. Best part is dawki river visit, double-decker tree root bridge, arwah cave visit. Driver was polite and courteous.Hotel M Crown in shillong and cygnett Inn in guwahati were great. Bonhabie resort in kaziranga was excellent. Cons. Tempo traveller was not upto mark in terms of comfort. Driver was ignorant about travel iternary and routes. We travelled from Dec 22to 29,post riot phase in guwahati, we were not assured about refund in case of violence but offered postponing of travel.

I don't know how to thank you Travel triangle enough for these 10 days that we 9 of us have spent together.. Right from the planning of the trip till the execution of it, the span of 2-3 months was just so so nice that I don't know what to do next in my life now! Each & every place that you decided for us to visit was just so awesome that I can't even say which was the best place or best moment of the trip . Each place & each moment holds a different place in my heart. This being my first longest trip, I was nervous, anxious yet happy & excited. Kaziranga wild life jeep safari was an experience that I will always remember being my first wild life safari. The serenity of nature taught me alot. The purest form of life only exists in wildlife. Dawki river boating, Dawki taught me remain silent & have fun in its own way. Double decker root bridge was the highlight of the trip for me as my soul purpose to visit north east was the trek to the double decker bridge. Loved the way we trekked through the wild life and enjoyed the lovely weather. Limestone caves & nokahali falls are the beautiful places and was mesmerized by the same! Just when i thought nothing can beat the beauty of Meghalaya, Sikkim happened! I just cant tell you in words how beautiful tsongmo lake & baba mandir are! They entire journey through the army camps gave me goosebumps and felt patriotic deeply. That moment itself, i was proud to be an Indian. The moment i thought thats it, Sikkim is the most beautiful state in India, the city of Darjeeling surprised me with its beauty again! That foggy morning, that freezing cold, the vibes in the Japanese temple, the feeling in ghoom monastery, those beautiful tea gardens, the excitement of the ropeway ride have the memories of their own! No experience can be compared with each other as every place gave me a different perception.. I am really really thankful to travel triangle for taking me on this trip. Without you I guess i would have never reached there. Thank you so much for giving us this experience. I respect you for the cut to cut planning & on point execution. Time is precious & you made it worth more than life. Kaziranga wild life jeep safari was an experience that I will always remember being my first wild life safari. The serenity of nature taught me alot. The purest form of life only exists in wildlife. Dawki river boating, Dawki taught me remain silent & have fun in its own way. Overall experience was great. Thanks for the coordination and help in taking care of my parents who are senior citizens. It started with constant follow up for the hotel vouchers and confirmation of the trip. There was no follow up from the travel agent or travel triangle's trip advisor regarding cab details till 1 day before the trip also. The trip was not planned properly. We drove out of Shillong on a 3 hour ride to Krang Shuri falls, came back to town and drove to Dawki and Mawlynnong the next day, another 3 hour ride. One could have stayed overnight at Mawlynnong, considering we were already staying there the next night. There were no timings provided for sight seeing places and we literally had to google everything. It was told that the driver would work as a guide, however, the driver was least interested to even drive around to places. On top, he was cribbing through out like why do you have to go to the city, it is full of traffic jam, why do you wanna go to a certain place, there is nothing to see. This was my first booking through Travel triangle. Despite of picking up an expensive itinerary, I had an unpleasant experience. Would definitely think twice before booking another trip through the portal and ofcourse, through the agency.
