Mesmerizing Meghalaya Tour Package From Guwahati 4 Days & 3 Nights

Head towards Shillong.

You need to arrive at Shillong airport. Then on the way, you would visit the Umiam Lake. Our coordinators would transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, complete all your check-in formalities. Settle down in your room and relax for a bit. In the late afternoon, you can visit the local Police Bazaar. This is one of the main commercial hubs of Shillong. After that return to the hotel. Then stay in the same place for the night. Have your dinner at the hotel and then relax for the night.

Drive towards Cherrapunji.

In the second day of the trip, have your breakfast at the hotel. And then complete all your check out formalities and drive towards cherrapunji. In the way to Cherrapunji, stopover at Shillong Peak, the Elephant Falls, and Mawdak Valley. Once you are in cherrapunji, you can visit Nohkalikai falls, Seven Sisters falls, Dainthlen falls and Mawsmai cave. Then you can have your lunch and after that, you can visit the Awrah Cave. After the sightseeing is complete, you can check-in to the hotel. Have your food and take rest. You will have to make an overnight stay in the same place.

A trip to Dawki.

Have your breakfast in the hotel and then head out for the drive to Dawki. This is one of the border towns between India and Bangladesh. Here, you can witness the suspension bridge built above the Umngot River. This was constructed during the British rule in India. Then you can enjoy the boat ride in the Umngot river. Cleanliness in this area needs to be appreciated. After having lunch, you can visit the nearby Rawi Village and then go for a walk around the single decker living root bridge. In the evening you will be returning back to Shillong. Get into your hotel room and relax for the night.

The trip ends.

This is the concluding day of the trip. Have your breakfast at the hotel and then head out to visit the Don Bosco Museum, Mawphlang Sacred Forest and the Laitlum Canyon. After completion of the sightseeing tour, the drive towards Guwahati would start. After reaching Guwahati, you can visit Kamakhya Temple.
