    Enjoy the lush forests of Bandipur

    At 9 am, after breakfast, we would start for Bandipur. It was the hunting ground of Maharaja of Mysore which was established in 1974, it is rich in varieties trees like Sandalwood and Teak. Bandipur is mostly a Tiger Reserve. It is also, home to other wildlife like Bison, Spotted Deer, Elephants, etc.

    En route to Wenlock Downs, you will visit the Sandynallah Reservoir, which is a dam situated on the Nilgiri slopes. There is a pine forest adjacent to it and many walking trails. You can spot some kingfishers, cranes, and herons over here. Up in the Mukurthi Hills, Pykara Falls is sparkling mostly in sunny mornings. It is about 6 Km from the Pykara Dams.
