I had the pleasure to travel to Thailand with my family this year. I took services from Travel triangle. Travel Triangle has been pretty active in getting me the most suitable itinerary that fits our needs through their local partners. We went to Phuket-> Phi Phi -> Krabi -> Bangkok. The total transaction was done in 3 steps giving assurance on the travel bookings on land and activities we planned. The Indian local connect for the whole tour was mostly available and thai local contacts were impeccable with their timings. Everything went smooth except for some of the hotel bookings and minor miscommunication. I'd suggest to personally checkout the hotel via their website even after the travel agents book. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of hotel choices from the (Indian) local travel agent and we had to go with the ones they booked for us. Since we were 3 adults in the trip (me and my parents), we were not offered family rooms in 2 out of 4 hotels that was a cause of inconvenience for us. I even tried to get two double rooms in Bangkok and that was also not arranged after multiple requests. Another of my feedback to the team is to have a secure way of collecting documents instead of over emails since cyber fraud is on rise and team's constant push to share sensitive documents like ID, pan card etc should be shared in a more secure way. Apart from these lodging inconveniences, the whole 8 day trip went as planned and the agents both in India and Thailand were constantly in contact and made the trip seamless.

Couple of things i want to highlight here that for transfer cabs we were told that private sedan cabs will be send but everytime only traveller like vehicles were send which had capacoty of 9 pax. The vehicle was clean, smooth and good comfort but the feeling of private sedan was not there in that. It felt like a picnic vehicle. The other thing i want to share that our agent from bookmytournow had no idea about new immigration process in thailand since it has become visa free for indians currently. Now we don't need to take visa on arrival and only need to go through immigration at thailand airport but the travel agemt was telling to go for visa on arrival first which is not the case.

The trip was well arranged at most places. But a couple of incidents spoiled our experience - One, not receiving any vouchers or tickets in advance and in case of an issue with tickets, etc, lack of prompt support at a local level. Second, the whole ticket fiasco at tiger kingdom and the resultant back-and-forth in communication as well as egoistic behavior by the agent for calling out lack of arrangements was uncalled for and left a bad taste on the whole trip. Overall, hotel and cab arrangements were very well arranged but there could be an improvement in communicating proactively. We were not made aware until the earlier evening what is the next day's itinerary and timings. Our earlier experience with Traveltriangle was much more seamless and we expected a similar experience, however, this experience makes us seriously reconsider Travel triangle for our future vacations. And most importantly, not having any residual payment from our end makes the balance of power much more in favour of agent. Traveltriangle may reconsider the payment terms to ensure there is something the agent has to look forward to by offering a seamless experience.
