A Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand Trip Where the Food Is Sorted

This pure-vegetarian and Jain Singapore Malaysia Thailand tour from India is built for families who love to travel but will not compromise on their food. Over 9 days and 8 nights you cover Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, and every single meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is pure-veg. Ask for Jain and the kitchen skips onion, garlic and root vegetables. Most Southeast Asia packages leave you hunting for a veg meal after the day tour ends. This one plans the restaurants into the itinerary, so a Jain grandmother and a theme-park-mad ten-year-old can travel together without either one going hungry.

    What Makes This Package Different

    • Same islands and theme parks as our other Southeast Asia trips. The difference is on your plate and in the planning:

All meals, all veg. Every meal is pure-vegetarian, three times a day, for all 9 days. Not a "veg option", the whole meal.

Jain on request. Say the word and every meal is cooked Jain-style: no onion, garlic, potato or other root vegetables. Useful for Jain, Swaminarayan and satvik families.

Real veg neighbourhoods. We route dinners through the Indian-food pockets that already exist in each city: Little India on Serangoon Road in Singapore, Brickfields (KL's Little India), and the Indian restaurants around Sukhumvit and Pratunam in Bangkok. Confirm your preferred restaurant list at booking.

Still customisable. Change any day, meal or hotel. The veg and Jain meal plan stays fixed even when you customise the sightseeing.

    Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1  Bangkok: Arrival and half-day city tour

Land at Bangkok, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. After you settle in, a half-day city tour takes in the temples and market lanes the old city is known for. Dinner is at a pure-veg Indian restaurant near your hotel. Meals: veg breakfast (from Day 2), veg lunch and dinner.

Day 2  Bangkok: Safari World and Marine Park

After a veg breakfast, spend the day at Safari World and Marine Park, split into a drive-through animal safari and a marine section with dolphin and sea-lion shows. Packed veg lunch or a veg meal on site, and a Jain-friendly dinner back in the city.

Day 3  Fly to Singapore and Night Safari

Check out and fly to Singapore. The afternoon is free to rest, then head out to the Night Safari, the world's first nocturnal open-air zoo, where the tram runs past animals that only come alive after dark. Veg dinner before or after the safari.

    Day 4  Singapore: Universal Studios

A full day at Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa, seven themed zones of rides and shows. Veg lunch inside the park (the food court has clearly marked veg counters) and a veg or Jain dinner in the evening.

    Day 5  Singapore: Sentosa Island

Stay on Sentosa for its beaches, the S.E.A. Aquarium and the island's adventure activities. Good, slow family day. Veg meals throughout, with dinner in Little India if you want a proper South Indian thali.

Day 6  Singapore: City tour and sightseeing

A half-day city tour covering Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion at Marina Bay, the Singapore Flyer, Orchard Road and Chinatown. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner is planned in Little India on Serangoon Road.

Day 7  Transfer to Kuala Lumpur and leisure

Travel to Kuala Lumpur and check in. The rest of the day is yours for the shopping streets and the view of the Petronas Towers. Dinner in Brickfields, KL's Little India, where pure-veg and Jain food is easy to find.

Day 8  Kuala Lumpur: Batu Caves and Genting Highlands

Visit the Batu Caves, the limestone temple caves reached by the tall painted staircase, then head up to Genting Highlands by the Awana SkyWay cable car for the hilltop theme park and cool air. Veg meals both in the city and on the hill.

    Day 9  Departure

A last veg breakfast, then transfer to the airport for your flight home, with a packed veg snack for the road.

Vegetarian and Jain Meals: How It Works

This is the part most packages gloss over, so here is the detail. Breakfast is at the hotel and is always laid out veg-first. Lunch is either a veg meal at or near the day's attraction or a packed tiffin on longer days. Dinner is the one we plan hardest, routed to a proper pure-veg Indian restaurant in each city so you get a real thali rather than a plate of fries.

Jain travellers: tell us at booking and we brief every restaurant to cook without onion, garlic, potato and other root vegetables. Swaminarayan and satvik requirements are handled the same way. Jain meals need 24 hours' notice at some restaurants, which is exactly why we fix the list before you fly rather than after you land.

Why Book This Trip With Us

For Jain groups, lock the restaurant list a week before you fly. Little India in Singapore and Brickfields in KL are easy, but Bangkok dinners need booking ahead

The veg and Jain meal arrangements on this page are checked by our Southeast Asia desk against the restaurants we actually book, not a generic list.

      FAQs About Thailand Tour Packages

Are pure-vegetarian and Jain meals really included every day?

Yes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are pure-veg for all 9 days, and Jain meals (no onion, garlic or root vegetables) are cooked on request when you flag it at booking. Dinners are routed to Indian restaurants in each city so you get a full thali, not just a side of fries.

Can you arrange Jain food in Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur?

Yes. Singapore has Little India on Serangoon Road, KL has Brickfields, and Bangkok has Indian restaurants around Sukhumvit and Pratunam. We fix the restaurant list before you fly, since some Jain kitchens need a day's notice.

How much does this vegetarian Singapore Malaysia Thailand package cost from India?

It starts at Rs 95,000 per person for 9 days and 8 nights with flights, hotels and all veg meals. The final price depends on your travel dates, hotel category and group size. Ask for a quote and we confirm the number.

How many days is the trip and what is the route?

Nine days and eight nights: two days in Bangkok, four in Singapore and two in Kuala Lumpur, ending with your flight home. You can add or drop days on request.

Can I customise the itinerary or the meal plan?

Yes. Swap sightseeing, change hotels or add nights and the veg and Jain meal plan stays in place. Tell us what your family wants and we rebuild the days around it.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

You can cancel free of charge up to the policy window before departure. Closer to the date, part of the cost is retained against flights and non-refundable bookings. Your exact windows are shown on your booking confirmation before payment.

What is the best time to travel to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand?

November to early April is the pick, with cooler and drier weather across all three countries. It is also the busiest stretch, so book your dates and your Jain meal requests early.

Our recent family trip to Singapore and Malaysia was superb. We enjoyed the services offered by Holiday Triangle and our time during the trip. Rooms were just as they were promised, super clean, and covered all needs. All travel plans, rides and shared transport were on time. Also, staff members we
re professional and pleasant. We took advantage of Grab app for private cab (unscheduled plans) and food delivery. Their service was very good. Room Tip: If you prefer little luxury, go for 4 star hotels to enjoy more amenities. Note: All the hotels have complimentary continental breakfast with different Indian variety everyday. Singapore hotels are smaller in size regardless of the hotel class due to size limitation of the city. Genting Islands in Malaysia was awesome. Genting Dream Cruise from Singapore to Bintan Islands is just and great experience. We totally loved it!

Although the places we visited were really beautiful, coordination with ASAP was a pain. Planning is definitely not their strong suite and it shows at all stages of hand-off. The Travel Triangle team, although with their own faults were far more responsive than ASAP team. The simplest of processes
became repetitive and cumbersome because of lack of foresight and planning from ASAP. Starting from operations briefing to visa processing (which was doubly complicated by 3 different submissions) and finally on-ground coordination - I found them lacking at all stages. One ray of sunshine was the last mile execution - the local travel agencies ASAP partnered with were quite professional and flexible. Positives: 1. Hotels were quite good. I have heard/read reviews where agencies book different hotels than were promised which are worse in quality. No such mishaps here. Although more information on the hotels should have been briefed. For example, the fact that they collect security deposits and would eat up 80% of the currencies I withdraw would have been a good information to have before we started the trip. 2. Cabs were comfortable especially with several senior citizens in our team. We did not have to worry about the quality of the transport. Although drivers were grumpy and sometimes improperly briefed. 3. Almost all tickets/bookings were correct and done in advance. Except the last day where they goofed up in Kuala Lumpur, the rest of the trip was managed correctly on ground 4. I believe the price was competitive. Do not claim to have a lot of knowledge on this front but this is the feeling I get after talking to friends and colleagues Negatives: 1. Zero planning. The sales team does not know about operations but refuse to connect us to operations before we have only little number of days left. 2. Visa team is woefully unaware of any rules and regulations pertaining to the visa process in case anything is a little different from the status quo. The company they had outsourced the visa process to was knowledgeable though and therefore everything finally worked out but not before by blood pressure reached record-level high. 3. Once they had supplied the itineraries to the local partner agencies, they sort of washed their hands off. Although they kept saying that they will coordinate, nothing happened from their sides. The local agencies themselves were more proactive in solving clashes and mistakes done by ASAP 4. No respect for others' time. Their process is completely screwed up - the hand-off processes do not work. Any movement needs multiple follow-ups and threats of legal repercussions

The stay was amazing. The scheduling was good too.But the support team failed really bad at krabi and phuket with different sorts of excuses. They were sorry many times. They were not supportive at all and were stuck on the side of their stupid local agent and did not provide any compensation for the
ir mistakes and kept pushing us into a frustrating experience. But the Booking experience with travel Triangle was great and the Itinerary was prepared very well by the agent Vandana of My Travel Calendar. But the support team totally disappointed with their miscommunication and cost us a day tour. The App User interface is totally cool and I have recommended it to many people. I liked how a trip advisor was assigned and was very prompt with all my queries. Thank you travel Triangle and My Travel Calendar for such a memorable trip. looking forward to travel soon again

Ashis's 15 days trip to Malaysia

My experiences: 1. Flight - How can an international flight booked back to back, I don't understand. The gap between both flights is 1hr 30 min. While going from Hyd to Langkawi stop over at Kualalumpur was 1.30 hrs. Now late departure of flight from hyd was delayed due to rain by an hr. At Kualalu
mpur one has to pass immigration & then find out which gate the flight is taking off within 30 min. Which level one has to go there is no one to help out. In fact I had to run & was the last person to enter the plane . Similarly while returning same thing happened. The flight took off late & reached Kualumpur at 20.25 pm local time. Flight departure from Kualalumpur is 20.50. practically I had to run to reach the gate. Now after reaching & when about to board the captain on technical ground didn't allow flight to take off. It's further delayed now. Don't know at what hr I'll reach Hyderabad. 2. Malaysia tour- Your DMC, Deepak has planned my trip wrongly. There was no free day in Kualalumpur. In fact if you see his itenary made for me Petrojaya tour etc was not there . As a result he kept a free day in Kualalumpur unnecessary at my cost - hotel stay & food . This was not acceptable to me.I had already intimated Nishita & Sailja of House of travels. In fact with their intervention on the last day before departing to Bali, Petrojaya tour was arranged hastily. The driver initially told me he is scheduled for airport drop only. But only after I spoke to Sailja, she managed to instruct concerned agent & hastily completed the site visit. Since the driver requested me to co-operate as he had a pick up from airport I hastily took some pics & left for airport. Bali - No issues at all. Enjoyed my stay. Suggestion - Henceforth while booking international flights do have a time gap of at 3 hrs for unknown eventualities. Further for a new person finding out the gate no where language is an issue becomes a problem . Distance between arrival & departure dates are quite long distance not to speak of immigration formalities. Apart from above trip is excellent.
