The new helipad is located at a distance of almost 1 km from the temple and this distance is to be covered on foot. Around 800 to 1000 pilgrims fly to the temple and back in private helicopters daily.
Can one book yatra parchi in advance?
Yatra parchi is mandatory for Bhavan and is valid for one day only. Online booking facilities for the parchi are also available. Even if you book a parchi in advance its validity expires in one day. Hence, You should only book one day prior so that it doesn’t go waste.
Can one opt for any VIP darshan in Vaishno Devi?
Yes, VIP darshan passes are available for Vaishno Devi Temple. They are issued only to some people and VIP darshan is much faster than the normal darshan.
