Katra is just 50 km away from Jammu. It takes about 1.5 hours by cab. From Katra to the temple, you can take a pony, palki and even a helicopter or just simply walk if you feel fit enough all the way up.

You can take the mobile phones on the trek, but during “darshan”, you need to put it inside a safe locked. Also, leather goods and cameras are not allowed inside the temple.
