    • Trip to Jaisalmer

I traveled to Rajasthan with my family in Feb 2019. The trip was customised as per my requirements and we didn't faced any issues during the 8 days trips. Although I have suggested options for hotel stay however Mr. Neeraj helped us in selecting the right one and my stay in all the 4 locations was excellent. Site seeing was well managed, thanks to our driver Mr. Sunil. A regular check by Neeraj during the trip is well appreciated. Overall a very nice and memorable experience. Although we enjoyed all the locations but Jaisalmer the golden City was simply awesome. In Sam desert, from staying in tent, enjoying the local food and cultural dance to Camel safari and dune bashing...it's momerable.

Hotel at Jodhpur was not so good. Hotel at Jaisalmer (Radhika Hotel) was worst. No cleanliness, no professionalism. Surprised to know it is three star hotel. I never saw such type of worst service in my life.

    • Trip to Dubai

Day one - Desert Safari was too good in a closed land cruiser. Bike riding in desert was a fun, but the cost was on higher side. Dinner and entertainment show was pathetic. Never ever go for dinner. better to stick till Desert safari. Free inclusion like camel ride, tattoo/heena etc. was just a lollypop . The dinner was being severed like we would have been beggars. I recommend to go to Jaisalmer to feel the royal hospitality and tasty food. Day two - Abudhabi Trip - Driver was late by 50 minutes. He took us to heritage village and ask us to come back in 15 minutes. It was a place where 15 minutes were not enough. we took 1 hour and he said not you will have lesser time for Ferrari world. Same thing happened at Grand Mosque as well. At Ferrari world he dropped us at 1500 hours and asked us to come back at 1800 hours otherwise he will left us there itself. (What a behavior). We could not have all the rides and fund and Ferrari world and comeback at 1800 hours but driver came at 1820. We paid for our trip and could not enjoy. Day Three - Dhow Cruise - we got the cruise named Monalisa hosted by Sardarji. This was the best experience. it was a nice cruise and the food was very-very good. Really like it Day four - Half day city tour was ok. Dubai mall is no doubt a big mall and nice place to visit just to sake of visiting. Otherwise you can have several malls in India as well. Burj Khalifa - going at the top - though i requested for a time slot of 1830 hours but it was not taken care and we were given the slot of 2000 hours. From the top you can see the city. but going in a day light would have better. The light show when you are standing at the bottom of Burj Khalifa was awesome. our guide tour/drivers were good except the one who took us to Abu Dhabi.

    FAQ's of Jaisalmer

Read on to find out why our customers love us!

The Desert Festival takes place in Jaisalmer's sand dunes every year in the month of February 3 days before the full moon. It is celebrated in remembrance of a prophecy having come true with the establishment of the kingdom of Rawal Jaiswal in the 12th Century. It is a festival full of color with a lot of different camel related activities like camel polo and camel races taking place among other activities. It lasts for three days.

Backpacking budgets are usually not that large as convenience gives way to luxury. Jaisalmer has a number of hostels available with beds on rent for people to stay starting as low as Rs. 300 a night. The cost of the sightseeing and relatively cheap food combined, a backpacker can see everything that Jaisalmer has to offer in roughly Rs. 2000- Rs. 2500.

Jaisalmer has an abundance of temples that are fairly ancient and known fo their carvings and sculptures. It is home to the very big Jain temples constructed in the 12th century. Also famous is the Tanot Mata temple, some 2 hours away, which is unique as it is said that during the 1965 war with Pakistan, enemy troops dropped a number of bombs on the temple yet all of them missed the target.

Jaisalmer has a number of luxury options to offer tourists looking to have a really special experience. There a fw 5 star hotels and resorts in and around Jaisalmer. There is also The Serai Luxury Desert Camp among the dunes with all the luxuries that one can imagine. The Palace on Wheels Rajasthan tour also spends a day in Jaisalmer.

The best way to reach Jaisalmer is by train, as the train station is connected to most major cities in the country. The airport in Jaisalmer is a military airport and thus only accepts chartered flights. If coming by air, the closest airport is in Jodhpur from where you can take a cab. If driving from Delhi, taking a stop in Jaipur or Ajmer is recommended.
