ce was not bad. Hotels were fine too except for the houseboat. We had very high expectations here and we were sadly let down. There were no choice in food, options were very limited and the lunch was extremely spicy. The AC in the main deck was not working and we had to spend most of our time in a small enclosure with no views of the back waters. The AC was also suddenly turned off at 8 AM (an hour before our scheduled checkout).

Driver was good but difficulties in halting the van as we required. ........there is no pre planning to check the route prior to travel......... The tour manager was on call whenever required ...........other than few embarrassing situations and selection of hotel at kumarkom..........things are okay.

Accommodation: 1. Munnar (Munnar Queen): Our stay at the Munnar Queen was disappointing. The behavior of the hotel staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating, which overshadowed the beauty of the location. The lack of hospitality was a significant drawback. 2. Thekkady (Windnote Hotel): In contrast, our stay at the Windnote Hotel in Thekkady was excellent. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. This made our stay in Thekkady very enjoyable. 3. Alleppey (Houseboat): The houseboat stay in Alleppey was unfortunately substandard. We were not provided with the premium boat rooms as promised. The rooms were not clean, and there was a very toxic smell emanating from the beds, which made the stay uncomfortable. 4. Kovalam (UDS Hotel): The stay at UDS Hotel in Kovalam was outstanding. The hotel offered luxurious accommodations, excellent service, and a beautiful beachfront location. It was the perfect way to conclude our trip. Overall Experience: Despite some inconsistencies, particularly with the accommodations in Munnar and Alleppey, the trip was well-organized. The transport and the support from our driver were significant positives.
