planning and finalising of the itinerary was really smooth and I was assured that from the start to the end, the trip would go smooth, and Stay and travel won't need to be bothered about . That turned out to be true when we reached Kerela. Everything from the Houseboat, to the accomodation at Varkala as well as Kovalam were really good. The Cab driver / guide, Mr. Maneesh, was quite the good chaperone and knew the roads well to make our transits pretty quick in comparison to Google map estimations.
Special mentions -
- Allepey - Houseboats - Kiliroor houseboats were decent and impressive.
- Jatayu Earth Center - MUST VISIT - but only after 4pm . Sunset worth watching.
- Kovalam - The Neelakanta - This property couldn't have been better placed. Overlooking the main beach. If you are lucky , getting a sea view room will make you not want to go to the beach as it's so close to the beach. (90% of their rooms are sea view or partial sea view). A brilliant suggestion by Mr. Anil.
