Traveling late at night in an unfamiliar city with my wife felt unsafe and stressful, especially since the roads were empty and it was around 2 AM. Eventually, he realized that the hotel was wrong, and only after that were we taken to the correct hotel. The next day, we were supposed to visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, but we discovered that no booking had been made for us, even though the package was booked on the 19th for travel starting on December 27 (an 8-day itinerary). This was very disappointing, especially considering the amount we paid. Apart from these issues, the hotels were very nice, the driver was polite and supportive, and the destinations themselves were beautiful. Another disappointing aspect was the lack of follow-up. After I paid the full amount, and even after completing the trip, I never received a single call asking about our experience, feedback, or whether anything could be improved. Overall, while some aspects were good, I did not expect these kinds of issues at this price point.

She helped me plan the entire trip in a very good 4-star hotel, and all the commitments made by her were absolutely up to the mark. I was assigned driver/mybro Asif, and I cannot thank him enough. He treated my family like is own, he is our kin now. He was extremely genuine, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He guided me properly about places to visit, and helped me avoid unnecessary expenses. Asif was always on time — in fact, most of the time he arrived even before the scheduled time. Despite his duty hours ending, he stayed with us late at night just to ensure our experience remained comfortable and enjoyable. He was very polite, soft-spoken, and patient. The car was very neat and clean, and his driving was smooth, safe, and confident. I strongly recommend requesting Driver Asif — he genuinely makes the journey special. Lighthouse had average food and some hot-water issues but good staff service, while Mukund Villas had scope for improvement in food quality, room maintenance, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities. Our drivers were professional and helpful overall. Hanif was friendly and knowledgeable, though the car provided was old and broke down multiple times (not his fault), and he remained supportive throughout. Deepak ensured a smooth long drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur; however, he was often unwilling to cover short distances and would drop us at main points, asking us to walk to nearby places, which became tiring for my parents. Additionally, there is room for improvement in destination and sightseeing selection from the Back2Holidays side. As tourists, we rely heavily on their expertise, and a few places felt like tourist traps with very little to actually see or experience. mfortable. Ther tour itinerary was followed as planned, and we covered all places except Udub palace and market. There was small ambiguity regarding the cab usage timinigs, which was swiftly cleared by Mr. Manan Chabra and his team. Hotel Swissbelton at Kuta (Anatheera), was classy, though we were not given pool access room there, but was compensated by the good spread of breakfast buffet. The dinner served there was also not bad, but we longed for spiccy indian food which was sparse. Lagoon pool access room at Kori Maharani was grt. except it was more a honeymooners type room, with no privacy for the bathrooms, but the staff made us a makeshift curtain on request. The pool there was good, but with lot of insects and leeches. The floating breakfast was good but the buffet and dining menu were very moderate, compared to Anatheera. Then on the day of our departure, they gave us a big basket of takeaway breakfast which we enjoyed at the airport. Overall it was a good trip. Our spl. thanks to Mr. Nikson, our driver who was a very friendly and cheerful person. We thanked him with a generous tip for his service, before we left. Not to mention you, Sakshi, who patiently bore with us during the planning of itenerary and also tailored our trip as wished by my family at a reasonable price. Jampa Dubjur (JD) was our tour guide in this trip and Haapa Dorji was the driver accompanying us. They were kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They made sure we had a good time during the long drives! Following hotels were provided to us : 1. Phuentsholling : Hotel Legphel -> 2km away from the main town. The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 2. Thimphu : Hotel Takhtsang -> Located at the centre of the city, but the room was decent, however the food was good! 3. Punakha : Hotel Khurukhuru -> Located at the centre of the city. The rooms were great, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 4. Phobjika : Hotel Odiyana -> This hotel has a great view of the Phobjika valley. However, the room was pretty average. The food was pretty good(however, despite booking for a breakfast in advance. IT was over way early.) 5. Paro : Hotel Ratna Vara -> Located at the centre of the city, The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! I had always heard that Bhutanese are very deep rooted to their culture and pretty genuine in keeping their tourist happy. JD, Dorji and Sharmila proved that it was true. If you’re planning for a trip to Bhutan, I would highly recommend to go with Green Zone Destination Tours! Tiger Nest hike and Hot Stone bath after a grueling hike was the best experience!
