Best Time To Visit Mathura

April to June

The summer season is scorchingly hot in Mathura, resulting in humidity. Such climatic conditions make it inconvenient to go sightseeing. Hence, visitors avoid a trip to Mathura during summer.

July to September

The monsoon season in Mathura brings relief from the otherwise hot weather, but the humidity factor remains constant. One can plan a visit to Mathura during this season as the weather is pleasant and to witness the famous festival of Krishna Janmashtami, celebrated in August or September.

October to March

The winter season is the best time to visit Mathura as the weather is suitable for sightseeing. You can also browse the Mathura Vrindavan tour package combo and avail as per your convenience. Extreme chilly weather prevails during December and January, and if you find harsh cold climates intolerable, avoid visiting during these two months. However, in March, the festival of Holi attracts a lot of tourists from all over India.

Prosenjit's 5 days trip to Delhi

The Hotel (Sita International) which was booked for us in Delhi was not at all Good., simply pathetic. So, it's strictly recommended not to visit or book any room at Sita International in New Delhi (Near to New Delhi Railway Station). The hotel was booked by the travel agency & the name of the Hotel is Sita International. But there is no sign of international standards & quality of that Hotel. They're using that "International" tag only for business that's it. The "deluxe room" they provided to us (Me, my wife & my 5-year-old son) is a remarkably simple ordinary one- or two-star category hotel room. The blanket they provided to us was torn. For reference please I've attached pictures of that blanket. The button under the shower in the bathroom was broken. Now after sharing all the information in reception, the hotel people behaved very casually & asked me to adjust. I informed my travel agent (Back to Holiday) regarding the issue, and my travel agent confirmed that in the evening they'll change my room but after returning from sightseeing the hotel said, "Room change is not possible because all rooms are booked". So, this is the situation I faced during my travel on the very first day (14.10.24). And in the morning The Hotel owner talked with me on the phone & told me that I made a quite simple issue into a big issue. So after paying advance to the travel agency, I faced this kind of situation. Last but not least, in the morning I found RAT in that room. And they're called it's an International Hotel. So strictly & Strictly recommended before booking anything think twice. Yes, after that remaining two Hotels are good (Gurukripa @ Mathura and Royal View @ Jaipur) & as per the standard, especially the last one (Royal View at Jaipur- 3-star category Hotel) .... Now regarding Cab. The Cab driver has a huge setting with all the guides in each & everywhere (Agra, Mathura, Jaipur) .... Directly & indirectly, he forced us to hire a guide so that he could earn a commission. And you'll not deny it because, in the middle of the tour, it's very risky & not at all safe. The driver has a very good local connection & I was traveling with my wife & my 5-year-old son. If I refused to hire a guide, he could have done anything locally because of his local connection & we're very new in that area. When at Jaipur we told that driver we don't require any guide he told me during travel maybe we'll face problems. Now in that situation what do you do? So as per his recommendation, we're forced to hire a guide as per the driver's choice, and we paid him Rs. 800 as decided by the driver (The normal government guide charge is Rs. 400).... So, if you'll travel along with your family (Like wife & son) you've got to accept all the terms & conditions of the driver because he has a strong local connection & you don't have that connection. Not only that, the driver will take you to some local shops where he has a good connection & if you buy something from that shop the driver will get a commission. Even on this trip, our driver took some local shops in Agra where he has a commission-based connection. Otherwise, he was not interested in taking you to some local shops where he'd not get any commission.

Shyam's 6 days trip to Himachal

On our way back from Agra we've asked driver to take us to Mathura which is like around 10kms from the agra delhi expressway. He asked us around 1500 for that couple of hours of extra trip. We paid that amount and I've specifically mentioned that we have two temples to visit in Mathura. Once we are done with the first one he was denying us to take to the other temple in Vrindavan, MATHURA. We had an argument about that. The next day we asked him to come early as it will be very hot in Delhi he said he have to take rest so can't come early. We accepted that but next day some other driver shows up. If he had to send another driver why ruin our morning plans. The driver who came on last day doesn't know anything, He dropped off us at international terminal. He didn't ask or mention anything about having multiple terminals for departure. We had to take a bus to go to our terminal. And again blaming us saying that we didn't tell him that.

Excellent service from the REIFY (www.itvaar. com), special mention of Mr Arun Duneja for understanding the need and tailor made our travel plans. As requested, Mr Arun arrange the right cab driver as per our need with no issues throughout our 6 days journey from Delhi Mathura, Vri davan, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and back to Delhi. I would definitely recommend cab driver Mr Ashish Kumar (+917906200780) and services of REIFY travel agency.. If anything I could correct in the entire trip is the Hotel provided in Delhi, Meridian Plaza - property appeared dated but otherwise everything was good.. Important message to Travel Triangle Team - Though you have appointed Mr Sagar Shivhare 8279715029 as point of contact has neither contacted me nor has bothered to respond to my phone calls before or after my trip. I have reported this issue to Travel Triangle Team before start of my visit but seems no response. I have also not got the so called free 10K vouchers on booking with travel triangle.. Hope to receive the response through TT team. However the shortfall from TT coordinator os well covered by Mr Arun Duneja from REIFY which made our trip memorable. Not sure if I would prefer Travel Triangle for mzy next tour but surely will reach to REIFY for my next vacation... ताज महाल

Manohar's 3 days trip to Agra

Cab driver took 6 hours to travel from Delhi to Agra and entire day wasted and could visit only Tajmahal in Agra as we started at 10am in Delhi and reached 4 pm. Next day Mathura and Vrindavan was planned. we could visit only Krishna jhanmabhoomi and Gokul in Mathura. All temples in Vrindavan closed by then. Driver did not alert us about closing timings and could not visit many temples. I thought this will be a package and be guided. I could have taken a cab for 2 days rental and booked hotel on my own. Bad experience

Bhavya's 7 days trip to Uttarakhand

This is one fraud company. Never take any quotes or travel plans from these people. They will cheat you at every point. My travel plan was to Rishkesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie and it was clearly communicated with the sales person named Divya who agreed to arrange all the hotels and accommodations as per my requirements. For Rishikesh I had required for 1 day stay at Parmarth Niketan Ashram and it was a mandatory request. But the very same day of my arrival, the sales person called me and said they are unable to get the room there so will arrange it some other day and meanwhile they will arrange my stay for that day in a hotel. This hotel was on a hill top near the Zostel. Hotel was good, the only problem I faced was it location, which needed me to climb a lot of stairs. For the second day, I had required for Camping at river side at Shivpuri. The sales person showed me all the campsite and camp images saying that this would be the camp for me. However, when we reached at the location it was on a mountain in an isolated region with noone except me in the camp. I had to leave from there and find my own camping and river rafting arrangements because these people couldnt even clear the mess that they created. They didnt even give me the refund for the camping and adventure sports charges. For third day, hotel was booked in Haridwar which was in a good location and in the city center but on arrival the Hotel receptionist asked me to pay pending amount since Siddhak Holidays only gave them the booking price. I was made to wait for an hour with my luggage at the reception until they cleared their dispute about payment. Due to medical emergency I had to cancel my travel plan to Mussoorie so had asked Divya to cancel the hotel reservation at Mussoorie and book me a room in Mathura for 2 days. But very smartly, she said she was not able to find any room available in Mathura so I was left with no option but to make my own booking at Mathura. Again , I didnt get the refund for the Mussoorie hotel cancellation with a reason that the complete payment was made to the hotel and they are not giving any refunding due to short notice cancellation. When I called and checked at this hotel, they informed me that the reservation was done for me in the hotel without any payment so they haven't received any payment from Siddhak holidays. They dont deserve to be a part of Travel Triangle. Do not take any package from Siddhak Holidays. Pathetic cheaters!!
