Memorial Chorten Entry Ticket

For foreign nationals who did not pay for visa packages, Memorial Chorten ticket price is 300 Ngultrum per person and 150 Ngultrum upon production of student ID card. Since Indian nationals do not need a visa to enter Bhutan, they might have to pay the fees. Memorial chorten entry fee for children below 5 years of age is free.

    Does one need to pay for a ticket at Memorial Chorten if they have a visa?

     

    Those who are paying the minimum daily package of USD 200/250 on their visa will only need to produce a copy of the visa clearance. Everyone else over the age of 5 has to pay 300 Nu.

    Is there any student concession on entry fees of Memorial Chorten?

     

    Yes, students need to pay only half, that is 150 Nu upon showing legitimate student ID at the ticket office.
